Hello Lotters, So, officially am going to attend this mylot Eye-Ball meet for the second. not exactly what i had in mind at first but the tres marias are officially not going, so they sponsor me so that I can go instead. actually, it was meant me to represent them =D But that's not it. because I had to donate 11$ for the said event, finally i contributed(thnx 2 my sponsors) because the last time I was just an attendee. the way to send my contribution is something caught me a little weird of a trouble. "This afternoon, I went to an ATM of Another bank, because it was near to the BPi bank were i could deposit my contribution to the organizer. something happened, my card got eaten few minutes after i simply check out my balance. it was not my bank btw. then, i went to the manager to complain, but when she opened the atm machine at the back, there was no card, she checked twice. I told them i will just go the Union bank (Phils.) to have it canceled" But here's the thing, I made all that up as an excuse to leave, because when I checked my wallet, the CARD WAS THERE I swear! i remember putting a card in their ATM machine, the card went in and it never went out. I was banging the atm machine a little bit, nothing came out, no money, no card. all i thought it went out when i went inside the bank and some one took it. but before that I was going out every 10 min to see if both money and card has come out, fearing some one had already taken it. But to my surprise, it was inside of my card all along. Now, how the Hell did that happened when the card didn't went out of the ATM in the first place CREEPY I TELL YOU! there is no way i could have insert another card because the old card was already taken by my bank..and that was a few months ago. unless i had unconsciously teleported my card from the ATM back to my wallet which is totally absurd to me!!!

Well I am amazed by that creepy incident you had with you. Well I do not know what happened with you there. But I think there are times that this also happens with me although not the same situation as yours. When I withdraw from ATM and after leaving, I always feel that I did not get my ATM and would always look at my wallet only to see it is there safely tucked in my wallet. I think there is what we call some periods of absent mindedness of me that I forgot certain incidents in what I do and when some things like taking off of my ATM and putting it in my wallet is not registered in my mind anymore that is why when I am leaving the machine I always am thinking I left my Card in the machine. I suspect that is what happened with you. Something you were doing that did not register to your mind. Although I am not really sure what happened of course.

Well I am not saying that he was in the same situation as with my experience. But what I do know is absent mindedness is a state where you were not aware of things that happened in the past but only realized you were in that state after the event has transpired and you realized you did something you were not aware of after things have happened. For whatever happened to LK I think it was an incident where there were some kind of confusion somewhere somehow or some magical thing happened around.

Hello Rsa101, oh I was very much aware of what am doing, that time i went to that bank I wasn't absent minded. this time I know i can never leave my card in their machine because I always wait for the card to come out, this time it didn't. what you have mentioned didn't happen to me because I was waiting for it. there's no way i was doing it with out being aware of it that time.

OMG. Check if you still have your other cards or something. You must have put something in there, but thought it was your ATM card. Did you not see any other thing there that belonged to you? Other than that, sorry my friend, in our local language, you might have been "namaligno" I don't know how to translate that in English. Errr... closest I can get is "bewitched".

Hello Gloryacam. Correction: it was inside my wallet I don't have other cards that time, just ONE. because If i had put another card just in case, it would have never accepted by the ATM machine. I even saw the balance of it because i checked it first. i think i seriously go back into going to attend mass or church. i am not really fond of other forces messing with me

AHA! I think I know what happened? Did you withdraw from a BDO machine? If yes, those machines let you get your card before you begin your transaction. Try another BDO machine and you'll see that happen.

Hi, So it was inside your wallet all along, lucky for you the manager didn't get wind of it or you might be branded a wacko. I can hear the snickers by the manager's table that starts with "and then there was this guy who thought his ATM card was eaten by the machine... blah, blah etc..." followed by loud guffaws all around. I wouldn't want to join along, being too far away to make a conclusion of the phenomenon about the card that was eaten by the ATM machine and ending up in a wallet. Strange story, that one for sure.

Hello rog0322, from this moment on i will withdraw the card only when it's needed and it's only on my bank. I don't wanna have that manager thinking that I wasted her time because she might think i have imagined things. which i obviously did not. I know in my heart i wasn't imagining things.

Hi Letran! OMGthat's really creepy. I am glad that it did not happen to me..and I am hoping that it won't really happen in my existence. I would probably wondered a lot and be ashamed with the manager. And I think I would not get closer to that bank ever. Well, good thing that they did not know that you have your card. And good thing that they did not wondered where is the card actually. Or maybe they have something in their minds......A lot of thoughts actually. Anyways, the good thing was...you have your card and it was never stolen. Happy Mylotting!

hmmmmm... that was so weird. I can't imagine how your card get inside your wallet after all you said that you have inserted it in the ATM machine. well the terrible part would be, what if you went inside the bank to tell the staff that your card got eaten by the machine, course they checked it but what if they will tell you check again your wallet and saw it was there?! OH that is so annoying if that would be the case.

Hello mrsuniega, I was totally assuming that my card was taken by some one else. because any time my card would ahve come out by the time i went inside the bank. she has check it twice and there was none of it. what shocked me is that her card went well in their atm.

Wow! what an experienced. You must get embarrassed when you found out that there was no card inside the machine after the effort of the bank assistant to look for it and I'll congratulate you for that excuse. It was very funny indeed. Sometimes we cannot explain some things happening on us.

Hello kokomo, they never knew i had the card all along because i didn't knew it either until i checked the wallet. it was scary first and probably embarassing enough to have taken her time and check the inside of their atm. I am glad they have accomodated me. what happened to me was real and very very strange enough

That's what we called creepiness! And I've experienced some creepy things at my workplace. Like, I am looking for something and I've already searched everything and then an hour later it appears. It's like there are really supernatural things that exist. I wondered if all those thoughts are true. Anyways, have a nice day!

That is just too funny and weird. Maybe you had alot of things on your mind at the time and you thought you put the card in the slot. That is just so strange. How embarrassing that would have been if the bank found out you had the card in your wallet all along. I don't know how it could be anything else! At least you didn't loose the card. I remember once my card actually got eaten up by the machine. I had to wait till the bank opened on Monday morning. I got it back with no problems.

Hello lelin1123, I know for a memory that i have lost the card in that atm, and i could have waited for the manager to open the atm but the problem is that the card was inside my wallet all along. i didn't really have many things on my mind, except that fact that it remained inside the atm, as i thought it would.

I don't recall something happen that strange with me though. It sure must have been creepy. Dude, maybe it's time you realized that you had some special powers and that you were meant to save the world and fight the bad guys!

Maybe because you're thinking of something or someone when you inserted the card, and yes, unknowingly, you got your card from the ATM machine. Or maybe it was just a dream, and you were really thinking it did happen that day.

Hello wittynet, No, this time I was thinking of getting that money off my card and then. And there's no way I was day dreaming because I was in a hurry that i needed to focus in getting it. i would never go to that atm machine again. No, i wasn't imagining it, in mylot i could imagine typing some words and actually missing it after it was posted, this was a different scenario

I didn't have any wonderful time that day, i was bewildered and shocked. if i didn't lie to the manager i would have been accused of wasting her time when she was totally busy with her duties. not to mention my time was wasted because i was in a hurry going to that bank.

spooky... Is that bank located at the Balete Drive? well, we can say you might really have taken the card back but you weren't conscious about it. Some ATM machines immediately releases the card before they ask you for the transactions you'd like to do, and even before asking you for your pin... But if you are sure that you haven't, then it's something else... waaaaahh...

Hello aejey, Of course, you won't understand until you have experience it yourself. I was always withdrawing my money on their atm when ever am in a hurry because the bank was way too far for another walking distance. that didn't happen to me either, when it went inside, I was sure i got close into putting the password and getting a task and that is knowing the balance of the card.

Hi Letran... maybe yesterday was really a spooky and creepy day at mylot. I also have read in another discussion about a nurse who has an old patient who has damaged kidneys. She was so weak that she could not even manage to stand up and go to comfort room by herself. The nurse made a call at the station and he saw his patient walking fast along the aisles and went down the stairs with all her IV and catheter dislodged. He said they immediately followed her and caught her near the pharmacy downstairs. The patient said there were 2 women who dislodged her IV and her catheter. And a man invited her to go downstairs, and the man helped her walk along the hallway and went downstairs. Creepy! Don't you think mylot members are being bewitched just in time that is nearing the halloween?

Hello laydee, I am sorry to say, i did not imagine this one as I was fully aware that i put my card there. otherwise, i would never know that it had only 10$ in the balance. something was not right that time and I know it. it's either some one took it when i went inside the bank, which was impossible.

Lol I dont know how you managed to make a mistake like that but it really is funny. They can look on the camera and see that you put it back in your wallet or never put it in at all. My would I have been so embarrased to see it was in my wallet after making all that commotion haha. I think your fib that you would have it cancelled was a good fib. I used to leave my card inside the atm all the time it drive me nuts to go to the store to pay for things and realize I had left it inside the atm a few days before. Then I would have to.cancel my gricery order drive to the bank and go back and buy my groceries. It hasnt happened in a long time luckily.

Hello shaggin, I wish they can look at the camera and see it for themselves. but i swear everything i said here was true. I had to think a lot because of that and promised to withdraw money from my bank instead. I am happy though that she took time to take it out of the atm even though it wasn't even there.

Well, I don't know but it could an act of God or miracle some sort! If you actually did put that in and manager couldn't locate, I'm sure the bank that deal with that atm should have a record! I suggest double check your bank statement especially the date, amount and time you used that atm. If many were taking out by another person, surely there must be a record somewhere!

Hello earningmember, I don't know how can that be a miracle since it was just about withdrawing cards. right now it's alright since the amount was deducted because of it's yearly balance and not to mention it's required to pay annual fee, which is only once in a year. well, next time it happens i will check the place.

Creepy indeed! Are you sure you aren't in too deep thinking and just thought you did it but you actually did not? But you clearly tell what you did, so I have to believe you. Some 'thing' might be playing with you... I suppose. Better that you have the card with you instead of it being eaten by the machine.

Hello enelym001, Yes right now am lucky that i still have the card in there. it never really went out after I check the balance. I can never be absent minded at that time because i recall banging the atm machine lightly. if it did come out i never would have to go inside the bank because it would signal me that the atm didn't have money. but it didn't came out.
