Hello My lot folks. Just want to get an information about Arab culture, lifestyle, people and others if any of you have been to Dammam Saudi Arabia already? Hope you have a very good rate working in Dammam 'coz I remember my brother who works there before his compensation was so low even if he is a licensed engineer. Arab culture is so different from us. You need to let your hair grow specially on your face. I don't know it's just that when my brother arrived from Dammam, he looks like stranger. His hair is long with unshaved face. Anyway, during PDOS they will discuss about the culture and everything regarding for the country you wish to go. Good luck and have faith always.

Congratulations and hope and pray that you will be successful in Saudi. To work in a big Gas Company, I bet your offer is a very good.I have worked in Saudi Arabia and the experience was quite strange because of their culture. For males avoid the places where there are women especially their locals, avoid staring at them, talking to them non-Saudi or not. I am sure there are many changes by this time as I was there more than 10 years ago. For males there are not much restrictions, unlike women that we also should cover our hair, wear Abaya and cannot go anywhere we want to. Just read articles about Saudi. Good luck to you and God bless.

I've never been to KSA, so I'm afraid I won't be much of help here... Just drop by to wish you all the best!
