My father in law caught this little octopus. He boiled it fresh, put in on a plate and sliced it into bite pieces. My wife really enjoys this kind of food sea food along with shrimp and clams. Back to the octopus, I wonder if someone could share a recipe for this kind of seafood. Would you like to share?

I make a very good risitto with cooked octopus and whatever other seafood you have around. The normal recipe for risotto can be found at the web. There are all sorts of risottos, but I prefer seafood and fresh mushroom risotto. Don`t forget to top with olive oil and coarse Regianitto cheese.

A friend used to make an awesome hot dish with octopus, but I found it too expensive. It was so wonderful that I could eat a whole octopus by myself

hahaha, if that wasn't big then maybe you can. However delicious octopus could be, I think it is not included among the healthy foods for health. I think they are metallic like squids.

There is a well known dish for octopus in Japan. They call it takuyaki. There are now several franchised carts here in our county for takuyaki. Much like a street food craze out in here. Try to look for resource in the internet on how to make takuyaki out of the octopus.

Hi! Good suggestion out there. I will look at that. This December we will go on vacation with my family in Lobo Batangas and I'm expecting some fresh octopus out there. I will surely try that Japanese takuyaki style. Thanks again!

I've never eaten an octopus before...I can't imagine what you could put it in to make it appetizing.

lol. Octopus is delicious to people who eats them. You just need salt, pepper, garlic and onion to saute it after boiling.
