IBPS Bank clerks recruitment 2012 is to be online test

IBPS is the organisation that is conducting tests for Bank recruitments in India. It conducted a test in 2011 for clerks. It also conducted two tests for Probationary officers, Nearly one lakh people will be recruited per year and more than this number. There is job security and terms and conditions like housing loan, car loan are good and hence many people are aspiring to join banks nowadays. Even engineers are joining as bank clerks because they do not get other employment. Nearly 50 lakh people are expected to apply. This is test is to be made online. In my view this will affect the candidates from rural areas. many of them do not have sufficient exposure to computer, internet. this may affect their chances. I am making this post so that you can tell some of your relatives who have completed graduation and is looking for employment to apply.
