ronaldo get injured and Portugal lost from Russian

i think the pray of Capello had been heard by God.. because of the injured with their captain, Ronaldo, Portugal was lost in Russian home.. Russian win 1-0 against Portugal Kerzhakov scores the only one goals (minute 6) after playing one two with Shirokov.. This winning makes Russian lead Grup F standing with 9 points from 3 matches and Portugal is sitting in 2nd with 6 points Russian can win but they improved their performance as overall.. Ronaldo et al dominate the game with 63% possesion ball and the home is only having 37% possesion ball..And the shooting with 13 shooting with 8 shoots on goals even no one can be goal.. I think it was great result for Capello and Russia winning this match 1-0. Ronaldo was injured in the El Classico and Capello had joked that his team thought it should was something serious enough that he would not play. As it turned out it did have an effect on his performance today. Cheers! Ram

ronaldo is fit in that game..but the effect of his shoulder injury hold him to play like in el classico match

Thanks for sharing this discussion. Well it was very much a disappointing day for Portugal as a whole. First it was the injury of Ronaldo and secondly the defeat of Portugal at the hands of Russia. I think Portuguese team have to brace up pretty well for their subsequent matches and i hope Ronaldo recovers from his injury very soon. What say?

yeah subho.. i think it will be influenced when ronaldo isn`t fit and play in his 100 percent performance.. it gives the bad impact to portugal national team he can plays in that game, but of course it`s not same when he plays for real madrid in elclasico..he seems to push himself to play in that el classico match
