Anyone of you read the Hunger Games trilogy? What do you think about these books

I was totally in love with them and could not stop reading them. There were times where I got a it lost as I think the end part of 2 and parts of book 3 could have been made more interesting. But book 1 was totally a masterpiece for me and I loved the way the last book ends.

I can't say I disagree with you. Perhaps it's just me, but all those mini plot-twists at the end of each chapter was what kept me going. Other than that, the descriptive imagery and gore was pretty entertaining, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I particularly liked the first and third.. the second one felt slower than both of them, but I suppose that's just me bloodthirsty for what was to come. ^^

Yes I was still looking forward to what would happen, especially with regards to the choice between Peeta and Gale.

Yes i am also awaiting the movies to come out. I am always really willing to watch movies for books that I have read and enjoyed because it is nice to see the story come to life and see the characters as if they were in real life.

I absolutely loved the books and I am really looking forward to seeing the movie as I haven't had the opportunity to see it yet. I really liked the fact that the book was a mixture of everything from romance to drama to action to thriller and fantasy as well. This was something that made it easy to get into the books. I really did think that the beginning of the first book was slow, but after I got through that, I finished book one and books two and three within a week.

Yeah, I had read all three. I only liked the first one, but the last two were boring to me.

Yes that is what many people said. The 2nd and 3rd books could have been much better. Nonetheless I enjoyed reading them.

I recommend reading the books and then watch the film. Besides the film is not always exactly the same in various details as the book. Also in case of the hunger games I doubt I would have managed to understand the story if I had watched the film and not read the book.
