The other day my daughter was at the pet shp and got to playing with a Conure. Well she fell in love with it and come home and got her husband to go see it. He has been wanting a larger bird for a while. . They bought the bird and brought him?/her? home. The bird doesn't like him. He doesn't take the time to get acquainted with the bird. We call him Cosmos. Three of us get along fine with him ..He is so cute. He likes to have his head and beak rubbed. If you stop before he is ready he nips at your hand. Some times he acts like he is in seventh heaven.
The dogs are jealious when we take cosmos out of his cage. They come running and demand a treat. We have to be careful when we take him out because one of the cats are just way to courious and will possible harm cosmos. He tries to sneak up on the bird.
We now have two dogs (cockerspaniels) twoc cats. and an aquarium full of fish plus the fish in the pond along with the frogs.

wow, that's awesome, your home seems to be full of life filled with joy , The cosmos don't like him, lol may be the bird is expecting more pampering from his side. He should give more attention ,then the bird may feel happy and start liking him.
The way you described,your home with two dogs ,two cats and aquarium full of fishes and now the cosmos, oh i liked it, i like a home like that. We need to spare a lot of time for them , which is very important. They are lovely creatures /pets which love us, and care for us sometimes demanding too,hehe well now that's their right i suppose,lol.
I used to have pets before, but as they passed away, and after seeing their suffering , i am not daring to have another. Its because we love them so much,but if they suffer ,and we are in a helpless stage ,its so painful. I went through the trauma, and felt ,its because of me the poor creatures are suffering ,so never again brought any pet. But still, i do think/remember ,the beautiful moments i spent with them.
Not daring to keep any at present, but may be in future i will try , as i love to .The moments which we spend with them are awesome. oh i can go on writing like this, as i love them. But you may get bored.

wow you have so many pets. i would love all that too. I have at my moms house like 3 dogs and 4 cats. but here I had a dog who passed away and one just disappeared.. For now I have a turtle and he is a sweet one. Thanks so sharing and have a wonderful day ahead
