Will you be my friend when I have no money?
Will you be friend when I am in trouble?
Will you be my friend when I differ with your ideas?
Will you be my friend when I am not smart?
Will you be my friend When I disobey and get into trouble?
Will you be my friend when I make you angry with my stubborn nature?
Will you be my friend when Iam sick and suffering?
Will you be my friend when I have disobeyed you a thousand times?
Will you be my friend,if I cheat and abuse you with out any cause?
Will you be my friend when I am careless and obstinate?
Will you be my friend when I am all these?
Nobody answered,but when I sat with tear filled eyes,
I heard a soft voice soothing me saying that he will be my friend,
If I called him with sincere love and repentance,
I called Him and he has been my friend and savior from that time onwards,
His name is Jesus,And he stood by me in all my difficult time.

No better friend than God , He will be there for us to the very end , he accept us for all our flaws , the one we can believe in at all times! He forgive every time we seek forgiveness . Nice discussion

I agree with you. He is a friend who will never desert us. In times of trouble and need, he's always there to comfort and help us. I once encountered a big problem, I talked to him. I am so bad because when I'm not in need, I don't talk to him always.

Being a friend cannot be measure on all those things you sited above. Friendship is accepting what you are. Friends are there always even in the times that you don't need them. I believe a good friend if the person exert an effort to continue your friendship.I love to share ideas with my friend, for constant communication is the best way I can give to a friend.

I think that one of the most important thing about being a friend to somebody is that you would be there for them no matter what happens in the future. This is incredibly important, as it is all very well being there for them when everything is going well, but this is not the time when they would need you the most. That time would come when things were a little more difficult. I know that I have always done my best to treat my friends well and in the way that I would always want to be treated, because I know how lucky I am to have them.

I agree with you! I believed that God is our only True Friend in this life. Because he's always there even if we don't ask him. Besides, he's the only one we could rely and hold onto when we are facing difficulties in life. :)

That just sums up what and who Jesus really is.It just shows his love,compassion and patience that he has for us.Jesus is always there for us through the good times and the bad which is the sign of a true friend.Unlike human friends he wont desert us when times get too hard.I still find it absolutely amazing that someone as special and powerful as Jesus would want to be friends with someone as insignificant as me,I don't think I will ever stop finding this absolutely amazing.I have never heard that poem/prayer before I have a few friends I will pass it along to they will find it very interesting.Did you write or if you didnt where did you get it from I would be interested in reading more of the writers work.
