A New Assignment

After the presentation of the programs of the department, we were informed by our director that we will now be assigned in the municipality within the province effective October 18. He asked each from the team as to our preferred place of assignment out of the presented places. When he asked me where I wanted to be assigned, I told him that it is okay for me to be assigned anywhere.
So after the meeting, we were already informed where we will be assigned. I know that being assigned in the field would not only entail additional expenses, it also means that we have to adjust to new people and situation. Well, this is part of our job and we cannot do away from it.
Just hoping that the municipal officials where I will be assigned are easy to get along with.
How about you my dear friends, do you experience being assigned from one place to another in relation with your job?

Some adjusments and dealing with other people are always part of it. You really have to be patient and sociable to reach out in people around the area.
So far I never had any experience in other place. I am always just in the head office and sometimes done branch visit once in a while.

Hi ardoy! We really have to know the art of dealing with people. Well, on my part I know that I can do it in a way. Hoping that the people there in my new place are also nice.
It's good also on your part because being assigned in field can be hard as you will have to spend more than if you are just assigned in your own place.

Before when I was working here in the Philippines but now I move from country to country being an OFW. It's more fun when you are assign in the filed. 
Well, you need to adjust because of the new people you work with everyday but if you are flexible person, no need to worry about it. I think in your side, you are a flexible person.

Hi julyteen! You are right, we need to be flexible because there different types of people that we need to deal with as we go on with our job. Especially on my part, I am in public service. Thank you for having that kind of impression towards me.
I also experience being assigned on the field during my three months field immersion. We just have to return to our mother station and I am just here for more than a week. The only thing I am worrying about it is the additional expenses on my part considering that we were just done with our training and field immersion and I also spend a lot of money for that. Well, anyway, it's part of work and we have to deal with it no matter what it may bring. My job is important to me.
