How to you do Check Ins for Jingit?

I watch ads for Jingit to earn money. They also have ads for you go to Walmaet and scan the UPC code and buy the product. Apparent you get credit for it and you get those ads which pay 50 cents each. What I don't understand is where you scan these products like Elmer's Glue and Jelli Pudding and so forth? Is the the UPC code the one that gets scanned at the register? Do you have to scan it somewhere else? Sorry but in clueless about what to do. If you know what to do, please tell me what you do. Thanks in advance.
