I've missed the British chicken burgers so much!

When I was studying in UK I used to go for lunch with my friends between the morning and afternoon classes. We were going to the local pubs most of the times and I was always oredring my favourite burger which was the chicken burger with breaded chicken and onion rings. It's been a year since I came back, and I realised that I haven't had a burger since I left! I know that burger is not the kind of food that you would miss from a country, but it's part of the great moments that I had at this pub with my classmates and friends, plus it was really tasty! The recipes here are so different and I haven't found a place that makes british burgers, so I decided that I should find the recipe and cook one day for my family! I am looking for the recipe of that specific pub chain because I'd like to prepare the same sauce and use similar ingredients, but I couldn't find it online. I guess I am just going to find a recipe for the traditional british burger and prepare that one! Do you like burgers? I know that it's not a healthy food to eat regularly, but I really enjoed it from time to time!

I know what you mean, I use to eat some food in college that I miss now. One being the breakfast eggs from the dinning hall. Since reading this I havent had a chicken burger in ages. I may have to attempt one, I think the key is the special sauce on it.

I know, it's the sauce right? I can pretty much find all the ongredients, but how can I find the sauce recipe? I am sure that they were buying it in containers and didn't prepare it in the pub, but I'd like to make the home made version!

The one that I like has breaded chicken and bacon, onion rings, cheese, tomato, lettuce, and I think some other ingredients that I can't remember right now, but they were delicious! What made them even better was the sauce! Actually, my favourite pub was serving the burger with 2 different sauces. I am not sure about their names but I think one of them was based in mayonnaise and the other one was hot and probably had chilli inside!

There was a British style pub close to campus where I went to college in California. They had Whatney's on tap. They also had a chocolate cake dessert called blackout. If I liked a girl and knew she liked chocolate that was the place to bring her. I recall having a few memorable meals in that place.

British desserts were also delicious. I loved the cheesecake over there! I am sure that your girlfriends must have liked the desserts as well!
