I miss my dad. He died of congestive heart failure. He died alone because my mom was a teacher and she had to go to work. My youngest sister and I were still in university years that time. It was my last day at school and I had to submit my last requirement and I would be free until my graduation day. I had to print some papers but I didn't know why couldn't I go out that morning. So, I asked my brother-in-law, to print my papers. When he went to his parents' house to get them printed, their phone rang. Suddenly, his mother ran towards my brother-in-law's house, where I was that time. She was in panic. She was still outside when she told me the news. I was glad that I was a bit tough. My problem was how to tell my elder sister and my youngest sister about the news. I guess they were a bit sensitive that time. My elder sister has a heart problem and my youngest sister was having her final exams that day. It's been nine years already. I hope he's in a good place now and he's happy. Just sharing everyone. Happy mylotting.

We never forget those moments in time that just take us for one heck of a ride. I am sorry that you lost your father then. I do understand only we lost our father when I was 6 yrs old. He was killed in a truck accident. It was a head on collision with a drunk driver. Everyone made it through except my father who was working. He was driving a truck load of logs to be delivered to a saw mill. It is amazing what one remembers though. That memory is with me, and what happened in those moments of time go through me like an old movie. I am happy you were able to have your father for the years you did have him.. Remember the times and feel blessed for that too. I know you miss him, he is and always will be in your heart. I am now 56 older than the age my father was then. I still remember those days as if they were yesterday. Be Blessed he is with you, always.. the love is everlasting...

Oh, you lost your father at a very early age. I'm sorry to hear about him. I guess we still should be thankful that we were raised with a father even for a short time. Yeah, I will always cherish our moments in my heart. I'm thankful that I was given 21 years to be with him. We had a lot of memories, good and bad. If we could only turn back time. We'll make all the memories good. Thanks a lot for posting. God bless.

thank you, I don't want your father's soul roaming around too. where are you? I must sure the distance between you and me is long enough to make a joke without any soul roaming around me. I'm sorry, this is really important to me.

Yes, it was a difficult situation. However, I was glad that I was the one who knew it first. If our elder sister happened to know it first, maybe she panicked on how to tell us. Yes, you're right. He's already in good hands. He's happy with God. Thanks meowchie. Happy mylotting.
