I always use the hair dryer to blow my hair after washing it. As it can have the good shape and my hair can be dry soon. My colleague told me that using the high power hair dryer will be better. As it takes less time blowing your hair to dry and it will be less harmful for the hair. Is it true?

it depends upon the type of the hair(long or short, healthy or weak) and type of the machine (high power or low power). if your hair is medium size, then you can use medium power dryer that too weekly once or twice but not regularly.

This is reasonable.

Hot air really makes your hair dry and brittle and if you do it daily, it will eventually damage your hair. If you have a little time, try blowdrying using the cool settings. If not, after blowdrying with hot air, switch to cool.

I don't use any thing hair dryer to dry my hair. I just make use of a cloth to seep the water from my hair. Making use of those hair drier gives you hot air which can create some bad changes or affects to your lovely hair. More over it just wastes electricity fro simple reasons.

If you have long hair, it still takes a long time waiting it to be dry.

High power is really hot and that can damage the hair.I always use a medium heat when I dry my hair though it takes time to dry it won't damage my hair. You are right and I agree with you regarding on this.
