..sleeping while inside the jeepney...

I have been scolded by my mom a lot of times now because of my "hobby" sleeping while on my way home or on my way to the office at night. I am very aware of possible incidents that i can encounter. Crime is everywhere. Living in the city is not bad at all but living in the city woyuld also mean a lot of possibilities either good or bad and if you are unfortunate danger is always there. Everytime I go home or go to the office, I just can't avoid closing my eyes. It's dangerous it's given but I just really can't avoid sleeping while on my way.. Maybe because I am too sleepy. Maybe because some are doing it as well.. Maybe because I haven't encountered any kindf of misfortune yet.. Maybe.. is anyone doing the same thing?

Your mom is very worried about your safety, of course. It does not matter if you are all grown up and independent, mothers will always worry. Try your best to eliminate her worries by staying alert inside jeepney... (will coffee help you to not fall asleep?)

O yeah..she is really really worried if she found out about it. I hope I can take coffe but coffe is not good for me because I have gastritis and would only irritate my stomach if I will drink coffe. I'm still thnakful though God has been so good to me .He keeps me safe every now and then.

It must be very easy to fall asleep on a long jeepney journey. I advise you wear a hidden money belt and don't carry a handbag. I had my money around my waist in a secretive belt and my camera around my neck in a pouch on my last trip. Yes, there is a lot of crime so please be careful.

i am really scared to sleep in public jeepney because one time i have seen a guy sneaking get the phone of the lady who slept during that time,i was afraid to shout because the guy was not alone,that is why even until now i still never sleep in the jeepney even i am very sleepy.

That would really be so dangerous if you used to be in deep sleep.I also sleep in jeepney and fx when traveling but I easily get awake.I am quite aware and alert enough to avoid unnecessary danger.I make sure the door of the fx was locked and safe.

Well good thing about it is that I am alert. I do not usually fall asleep deeply. That's right, nowadays, we have to be alert especially when on the road. Especially if we think we are on imminent danger. Danger is everywhere so it is really important to be aware of what is happening.

When I was still studying and I have to commute to and from the university belt, I would fall asleep on the jeepney as well. But I only do this when I am with classmates or friends. Otherwise, I make sure that my eyes are open and I am alert. I can't afford to be robbed or worse, be molested while I'm dozing.

Good thing you have companions with you. So unfortunate for me because my officemates and I don't have the same way upon going home. At times I really can't avoid myself especially if I had this erratic schedule. Im just so luccky so far i have been into any kind of danger. Thank God!
