One of my loved one is suffering from cancer and it really is so difficult on our part. She was in pain all day all night and that breaks my heart. But he was a godly woman with faith in God and joy in Him. No matter how painful her days are, she still manages to live a life with joy and gratitude. She is a blessing to many. You too can live a life so wonderful amidst the pains and troubles of life.

Well, I think that everybody needs to accept life as it is. We should always view life in a positive perspective. In this way, we free ourselves from being troubled.

Hi Jenny, Thanks for joining in...As I was also saying to one of our friends here, we can't really scape and deny the fact of pains and other negative things in this life. Taking it in the positive perspective, yes it's right as long as the kindset is inline to the principle of the Word of God.

Hi natliegleb. Thanks for joining in. Oh we hope that life would be painless but pain is a reality that we cannot scape nor deny. We live in a fallen world and thus we have all this unwanted things. However, life can be beautiful despite of pains. Life can be wonderful with all the pains when we know that we are in the hands of God. Hereafter, we have joy forever more.

cancer is a very hard disease. my father in law has cancer in his mouth but he also has altzheimers which makes many forms of treatment impossible. the one they are suggesting is one that my father in law would have to lay very still for an hour and a half with a mask on his face but because his altzheimers is fairly advanced, he wouldn't understand nor would he lie still for that amount of time. having faith in God does help though doesn't it? i have a few chronic diseases and am very tired most of the time but i know God is with me and i am like this for His purpose. His grace is sufficient for me!

Hi Cher, thanks for posting in. That is a very hard situation, you need a lot of patience and love for loved ones in that case. About our faith in the Lord, for me and my family, trusting in God is our only option because in Him, we have hope and relief no matter how tough it is.

I admire that person with such positivity despite the illnesses and sufferings. To enjoy life means to have life despite all the negative episodes in our lives. What makes life fulfilling is knowing how to live in the most delightful way possible for oneself.

Hi obe, thanks for sharing in. She was not a strong kind of person and not a positive one either. But you know what? Since she learned about Christ and His wonderful grace, she became a testimony of a weak person yet strong in the Lord. Her favorite line was Col. 2: 10, "For you are complete in Him."

Hi! Thank You for posting such an inspiring discussion. And I really admire the person that you are referring to who was suffering from cancer. She was a brave person in spite of the challenges she was facing through. :)

Hi toxic, she's sleeping now but still in pain. I just thank God for the night, at least she can rest from pains. But the subject in our home is not pain or sickness, the subject that makes us strong is our hope in the Lord, her hope in the Lord. I appreciate you admire her and I must tell you as well that her courage is from the Lord.
