Glass Shattered In The Road

Today as my dad was out in the front of the house here he noticed there was glass neatly shattered in one small pile in the road but right where the car goes out of the driveway and where my brother would pull out if her were parked on the outside curb. To me it looks suspicious as if someone put it there on purpose but I could be wrong, there was no bottle or anything.
Have you ever had to clean up glass like this in the road so that your tires wouldn't have to ride over them? If this was a prank I think it was a bad one. My friend in FL said someone there recently smeared poop all over her windshield of her car and left the open bag of it there on the hood. What is this world coming to? Gross.
The cops couldn't even do anything about it, they said maybe if it happened again.

Thanks for posting this discussion. Well it was pretty disappointing to hear about that incident in FL and i suppose strict action should be taken for such pranks. I think the shattered glasses could be either purposefully placed on the roads by some perverts or it might could be a result of an accident occurring on the street. Whatever it may be hats off to your brother for cleaning up this mess.
What say?

No accident happened there, it is close to the house and we would have known about it. My dad cleaned it up. Yea, wish they would have caught the prankster(s) either way. Some cars were actually stolen in other areas of this state recently somewhere, so I'm glad the cars remained intact and still there, at least.
