Loving Money

Money is not evil, loving money is. There was this time in my life when all I want to do is earn. I had many things in mind, things I should be investing to, things I want to buy, things that I believe would make my life complete. I work hard to earn, I make a living not just with my current job, I make money in my extra time and still making money during the times that I should be resting, even during the times I should have spent for my family. I was so stressed, anxiety had enveloped me and I became irritable just because I wanted everything to be "perfect". I came to a point where I thought I am not going somewhere, I'm not finishing something and felt so empty. I worked so hard but still felt lacking. Until I had realized that I am loving money so much that I had set it higher than my goals, even higher that my Master. I didn't have a security then, I was too afraid to lost some. Now, I thank the Lord that He made me realized that I don't have to work like a dog for provisions because He had already provided for me:-)

That is a nice way of putting the fact that many things in life are around us that have more importance than money.Even though in our present world, our life revolves around money, spending every bit of time and energy to earn money is surely a waste of time. There would be many things that we would miss because of that. Initially when I entered the online earning business,I was too much into that I was so much frustrated and stressed and the money I earned was not worth the stress, irritation and the joy I sacrificed in life. After that I took my earning side to a pleasant and enjoyable way and and stress was out of my life.Even though I earn less,it satisfies me and helps me to enjoy other things in life.

Yes, you are correct! There are more important things than money. Money should not stress us, it's a commodity but we could still live without loving it that much. Have a stress free life ahead!

Of course money is not evil, you need money to live and survive in a modern world. It is quite funny when people said that money is evil and at the same time, they continue to seek more every day.

Totally agree and it's all about setting priory straight! I recall wondering how was I going paying those left behind bills. I pray and I sensed that help is on it's way! Few month after my credit company increased my credit limit! So instead of spending for items I don't need, I started putting my left behind bill on credit! Since credit increased was God's answer to my prayer, it not up to me mess around! Afterall, if the Lord wouldn't trust me with credit, I wouldn'd have one. I thank Him for his trust!

There should be time for everyone to stop and have a little break. Its good to make money, notings wrong with that. Everything become problems if you start to force things up. If we keep following our desire, it will be hard to stop. There are many parts happen in our life and we should share our time equally to make some balance in our life. Sorry if i said something wrong.

You said it, we work like a dog, night and day, in order to have something to save but it may always come lacking. I beleive it is not wrong to think about money all the time for it helps us going to this life. Money is so vital that it covers almost everything but there's something more important than money, that is our faith and that is the bottomline. Good luck to us all particularly in investing our money and time, hope it's worth it. Thanks

You are talking very correct my friend, that money is really not an evil one,yet when we worship it as if it were more gigantic than we are, that is the time it is already classified as evil in all our ways.

Hi, It is only a matter of setting our priorities straight, what we value most and why. People who has nothing in life value the things to let them have it. Those who have all the material things should set their goals higher beyond what is material to attain real satisfaction.

Yes, absolutely true. When we know what real treasures are, we start investing on them.

Hi there! Not everyone loves money but we all need it. There a big difference in loving it and needing it. Let us not follow money, let us follow Christ.

Thanks for posting this discussion. Yes u are very much correct. Earning money and driving pleasure out of it is not an evil thing but if it takes over to your head and u become so much money minded that u only feel that money is the most important thing on earth then it is not appreciable. Everybody earns on this earn but more importantly we need to earn happiness that cannot be bought by money. We should earn by our hard work and have to be cheerful and happy at the same time. What say?

I can relate to this because like you, I am working too hard also to earn lots of money. I have been working for atleast 15 to 16 hours a day. I like saving money and hate to spend it. But I have a lot of things in my miond that I want to buy. Sometimes, I don't know what to prioritize after my family. I am just thankful now because I know how to handle my money as well as to help my family. :)

Wow, that is so great. After your family, you should treat yourself. After I have received by salary what I do is I "pay" myself. I eat out or have a spa. We should do that sometimes, we had had hard work. Thanks for sharing:D
