I am one of those tennis fan who is always in the news when it's time for tennis grandslams. Who are the favorites to win the tournament, and why? Who are the sentimental favorites? Are there going to be some unknown showing some spark and beating seeded players? Anyway, I am one of those also who wanted to watch any of the grandslam tournaments live. I imagine myself someday watching my favorite tennis players in America watching the U.S. Open, or I could be in France watching the French Open and seeing those players grind it out of the dirt. And I could see myself watching Wimbledon in the England soil and probably having a glance at the queen, and also watching the Australian Open, wouldn't that be cool, mate? How about you, do you want someday to watch any or all of these grandslam tournaments exactly where they are played and be able to watch your favorite professional players battle it out to the 4 most prestigious tennis tournaments of each year?

I like both Djokovic and Murray, but in my case I like Murray better. Anyway, Djokovic has accomplished more than Murray at this point, with more grandslam tournament in his belt and being the Number 1 player in the world right now. Djokovic is on top of the world, but I think Murray will have his day and winning the Olympics by beating Federer in a grand fashion and winning the last U.S. Open which is his first ever grandslam has proven that he can be Number 1 someday.

A long time ago now when I worked in New Jersey, one of my coworkers organized a bus trip into NY for a day to go to the U. S. Open. This was long before the larger stadium was built. I got to see my favorite player at the time, Jimmy Connors, play. Actually I sort of got to see him play since my seat was so high up in the stands that even looking through the telephoto lens on my camera, the action was still very far away. I think he won the match I saw, it has been a long time ago and I don't remember for sure. Something else happened that has really stuck in my memory and that is that I passed a very young Jennifer Capriati as she was hurriedly leaving one of the stadiums carrying her tennis gear and crying because she had lost a match. She was just a very young teenager as this was before she rose to prominence and long before her later troubles. I would really like to go again to some Grandslam tournaments, especially, the U. S. Open but I live far away and it is not too likely.

The US Open, really?? Wow, did you enjoy the experience much? I am also a fan of these old players like Borg and McKenroe, and the not so old like Pete Sampras and Andre Agassi matchup. I hope they could still be active in the seniors tour, are they? Anyway, I sure hope I could also have the opportunity to watch the US Open someday, and who knows maybe I may watch my favorite player Andy Murray win another US Open grandslam when that time comes.

Same here, but I do believe big money could come in many unexpected ways so I hope we attract those big $$$ so that we could afford to go to those places and watch our favorite players fight it out in those different surfaces from different grand slam events :)
