Should I or should I not?
It's been a long time since I wanted a lava lamp. I think they are cool but also dangerous. I hear they are expensive but I'm okay with the small cheap ones. I saw some online lava lamp sold for less than 20 dollars. I wonder if they are worth it? Do they consume too much electricity? I would be using them only at night and not for too long. Just a brief cool display of lights. I have this thing for light effects to make a dark room awesome! Star ceiling and glow in the darks, stuff like that
I find that a lava lamp would make a good addition for a room I plan to design which is my future room up in our attic.
What do you think? Would you spend your money on lava lamps?
Thanks for responding.

My daughter has a lava lamp in her bed room. It has never taken up nor used to much electricity. We leave hers on all night long till the morning. We use hers as a night light light. We didn't spend any money get it because someone gave it to us for her to use since they didn't need it any more nor wanted it. Her's is all purple with sparkles in it.

That's great! Now I'll just have to find one. How big is your lava lamp? How much did it cost?

I said above I believe that it was given to us. It's a normal size of a lava lamp that you normally see in the store. The ones that I've seen in the stores where I live can be about $20 and up. You can probably check online and might find some cheaper.

I think so. that is not very expensive i guess. if you just want a small one.. it is your money anyway, you can do whatever you want with it.
I am sure you can find some cheap but pretty ones in some small stores, you can even "tawad" them.. to make it cheaper.

So far I have not seen lava lamps in stores around where I live. I wonder why.
My parents don't want me to buy it because they are paying the electrical bills though i already told them it won't cost too much electricity and I would only turn it off for a short period of time to help me relax.
thanks!

If you want it you should treat yourself to it , you earn it after all . I would advice you to buy it and as you say you will only be suing them at night so it wont bring the bill to too much .
I also like my dark room to have a little light .
