i took my chuhuaha to her regular vet today. she was given a clean bill of health, except for a pea size lump behind one of her nipples. :( so for now, i'll have to perform breast exam on her and monitor the lump. if it gets bigger, then we'll have to take her in and get a biopsy. if it stays the same, then when i get my tax return money, we can take her in for the biopsy. so i'm praying that God will touch her and keep her well. i could just kick my hubby in the @$$ for not agreeing to her getting fixed!!

So glad to hear that she's healthy!
I know the lump must be worrisome, though. Yes, unfortunately pets do seem to be healthier after neutering/spaying, if you can afford it. I hope that lump stays little. Maybe nothing will come of it. Thanks for letting us know. And please keep us posted about the lump and biopsy.

so sorry to hear of the pea sized lump she has, that can be disheartening. how old is she? she could get that even if she was fixed, perhaps too. i do hope and pray it isn't getting any bigger, i know how worrisome something like that is for you. i hope she isn't in any pain either. is she acting normally otherwise, and eating fine, etc.?
