Could We Actually Earn From Photos?

I am not a photogenic person so I am not very fond of posing for a shot. I seldom join my group in picture taking activities unless it is necessary. I don't even have my own camera for such a long time and never plan in buying my own until the time came that we had to go to Manila, the capital city of the Philippines. I bought a second hand camera. I found out that taking pictures is also fun. Especially that I found out that my daughter is photogenic and she loves to pose. I also started to take pictures of the places I visited. Because of this I also found out that I know how to take pictures. but not for the intention of making money out of it.
Until one time, while I am browsing the net, i came across a blog sharing her experience about this site, Red Gae. she said she earned by just uploading pictures. Wow! That is an interesting statement! I never though of that as possible. Although I came across invitation while I am visiting my TE site but I was not interested because I have not seen any proof so far.
So I signed up and started right away. The members are very friendly too sending friend invitations. I uploaded several pictures and I can monitor the views statistics at real time. This is a great site!

When I read your title , I thought you mean by selling lol.
If your photos, are good, I bet you can earn quite a bit. It also depends on your people skills and your luck. My photography teacher in school used to make a lot of money photographing pictures of a horse racing event for rich people. The fact that her photos were amazing and that the people buying were rich, she make ~35-60 dollars a photo!

Hi mindy! The title should capture the attention of the readers, that's what I've learned from our friends here. Well, I never though of that because I am not a professional photographer myself. But when I join the site, I've realized that I don't need to be a professional in this field in order to earn through pictures.

I like taking pictures as well and I want to buy a professional camera. But it is so expensive

Hi girl! The truth is I am also planning to buy SLR but I still have to save for it. As of now I am using my camera which I bought second hand. I'm sure my photos will be more beautiful if I have a good camera. Perhaps i could buy this thing if i already earned enough money from my online activities. For me Cannon and Sony are good brands.

I just joined a Photography Club at work. They will give us employees free lectures and we'll have educational trips! I am so excited and I am glad our company put up this club I think I should buy a Cannon brand soon

Wow! That is a good activity! I will add the same kind of activity to my list. When you buy any camera, you have to consider also the after sales service or warranty, so be sure to buy from a store near your place or make sure to know the service centers for the brand.
Perhaps you could wait till the Christmas season because this is the time when companies are giving big discounts for their products. Try to make a good research by reading some reviews. You can make comparisons as to which brand and model is the best.

Yes, it is possible. You can earn a lot just by taking pictures. You should study more about photography and join a club that are photograph lovers..They can share you some of the best tips and experiences in getting a nice lovely pictures. There are also websites that offer payment for every pictures you upload, i forgot the site name, I will search it for you...

Thank you pals! Since I already found a site perhaps I have to try this one first. I know there are still other sites around but it would be very time consuming if I would have to try it all. But on those sites that would give tips on how to get perfect and lovely pictures I would really appreciate if you could share it with us. Thank you for sharing you knowledge on this matter.

Still I not heard this earn the money from photos but thanks to share the discussion. But I think this is not easy and not legit. Now lots of fake sites are available. I am not interested to upload my or my friends photo because some worse mind person use these photos and upload on other place and earn money.

Hi sure! I am uploading photos of places, animals, flowers and a lot more things that I had taken from my own camera. Actually, I am not a professional photographer and my camera is just an ordinary one. It is really not that easy. If before I am not very active on twitter, this is the time that I appreciate this site that much. Because views are important and twitter and facebook are good sites for that purpose. As to the reliability of the site, well, I have found several Filipino friends who are members for more than 4 years and I can see they are doing well and enjoying the site.
I actually regarded this site as a tool to develop the creativity in us.

Hi mashnn! That was the only one I know as of now. Perhaps I have to stay with the site in order to be familiarized with the system. Sometimes, if we keep jumping from one site to another, we sometimes lost our focus.

I am sharing whatever I learned from my online activities as it might interest others who are looking for some ways to earn additional income. I am also new to this site and I think I can do it while doing my other online activities. I will concentrate more on pictures. I'm glad that you also love to take pictures. I am on RedGage also but I have been using it only to upload my articles on Yahoo Voices so that I can get more views.
I like the site but know very little about it. I need to explore it more. I forgot that you can earn money uploading photos and maybe even writing for Red Gage.

Thanks for posting this discussion. Well it is great to know about earning money simply by posting the pictures and i am glad that u shared this information. To be very honest i have no idea about this and probably i would like to sign up myself and discover about the same. It would be simply awesome to upload the pictures and in return earn from them.

Hi maria! Yes I already read some of them. I found this kind of earning very interesting especially that I can be assign anywhere so perhaps I could use this present situation to my advantage. I see to it that I would be taking pictures of the places I visited more seriously.
