I have been a fan of The Price Is Right for many years and love the show. Lately I have seen something on the show that I particularly like and that is them having a male model. I know that the male model is only a temporary thing, but I feel that the show does not need to have male models. Do you feel that The Price Is Right needs to have male models? Please share your thoughts.

They need to make that particular male model they have right now a permanent thing. He is so fine, whew!! I definitely think that they need to have more male models, women watch that show too!! I am not a hater and therefore don't hate on the the lovely Price is Right ladies, but I would love to look at some good looking men on that show. I feel that "they" (the show's decision makers) are only appealing to a certain group of people with just the ladies prancing around the stage.

He is supposed to come back later on this season. I am a woman and I am used to seeing women models. I am not sure how Bob Barker would react to having a male model on the show. My niece (she is 7) loves watching the models because she loves their dresses.

Yeah, the other day I saw on one of those shows that reports entertainment news that he is supposed to be coming back. They need to keep him. Do the right thing Price is Right!! I adored Bob Barker, I still miss him on that show even though Drew has been on there for awhile. I think that if Bob was all for bowing out and letting Drew Carey take the reins, then Bob is open to progress. And progress means having a male model. When the show first started umpteen years ago, male models existed, but they were more of an anomaly. These days, not having a male model on the show just seems crazy, imo. I like to look at what the women are wearing on the show, too. Your niece sounds like my mom. My mom liked to watch Wheel of Fortune so that she could see what kind of dress Vanna was wearing.

I have not really watched this show much since Drew Carrey started with it. I would be like where is Cannabis if I seen all males on there now. But I guess like anything else things change so if you are still going to choose to watch the show or not.

I would prefer Female Models though lol . Talking about The price is right reminds me of an older show called wheel of fortune !! That lady who opens the letter certainly had a impact in my mind yea. So having female models is better !!

Hi Sir_bobby, I also watch Wheel of Fortune and it has been on for the past 30 years. Vanna White is still on there and she was on The Price Is Right as a contestant well before she got the job on Wheel of Fortune. I am female and like the female models because I have seen female models for years on The Price Is Right and it is odd seeing a male model.

I think that the main reason that I quit watching The Price is Right is because of the fact that I felt like the show was somewhat chauvenistic. Don't get me wrong, I really like all of the mini games and I love to try to guess what the prices of the different items are. However, it just never really seemed right to me that all of the presenters were female. You know, now that the dynamic of the show has changed somewhat since Bob Barker is no longer a part of the show, it could be a reality that there will become male regulars on the show.

Hi friend, good to know that you are a great fan for this show. If the show is popular there is no need for models, as you mentioned the model is just temporary, so don't bother about him

really use to seeing the female models..male models maybe ok but use to females better. I usually look at male models for clothes and working with women more, not man and man, woman and woman bit both side by side.. just makes the show differant..sometimes takes the interest off of the shoe with big changes.

I began watching the show when I was very small. I would watch it at lunchtime with my grandparents. To this day, I associate the show with female models and do find it different to see a male model on the show. However, it is 2012, and perhaps this is the show's way of keeping up with the evolving times. I do prefer the female models, even though the male model isn't hard to look at!
