From my side always regular school is better because your child get know how the other people are in this world and how to interact with them.

Hi! I think this really applies to which country you come from. For me, i prefer my children to be homeschooled because the standard of education is higher. Not only that, the children gains more attention from teachers. As for regular school, in my country it is getting worst because teachers are too young and inexperienced. Not only that, they see it as a place for an easy income instead of having passion to impart knowledge and wisdom. It really saddens me when i hear complains from parents because i mentor a lot of teenagers.

In my country some moms I know is already considering homeschool because regular school is expensive now, that is if you want to send your child to a private owned school but if you just send a child to a public school then a parent knows that the quality of education is not so good.

I have some friends who were schooled at home, and I don't think that it is the best thing for children. If they go to school then it means that they are able to mix with other children their own age rather than only seeing their parents or one tutor if it is not their parent who is teaching them. In addition to this I think that those who go to school are much better prepared for life, because you are never going to be able to stay at home forever and at some point they would have to go out into the world and meet new people, so it is best to start preparing for this whilst at school.

In my case,I prefer regular school where I been studied.I think it could help the child to be more sociable with other people.I could choose homeschooling if it is just the best and last option that I have.

I also think that homeschooling is a last option when talking about a child's education.

If it was me, i prefer the regular one. Its because i want my child to interact with their friends, feel their joy time. And in the regular school where they unite with their friends, they'll learn something that never teached by a teacher.

I think it is still best to let children attend a regular school unless they have disabilities that hinder them from doing so. In regular school they will learn to socialize and interact with others. They can mingle with people of their age. They can participate with discussions and school activities that can enhance their talents. Old school is still the best

In my home country the nursery class age range is from 3 to 4 years old. Then most children begin school at age 4 to 5 years old. The legal age for beginning school is 5 years old. At the moment my 5 year old disabled son is in Year 1. I am a primary school teacher and I don't wish to home school my own children. I think that social skills are learned in a class with 29 other children. I think school and college gets a child ready for adult life. I don't have enough time to teach my own children. I know two girls that were home schooled but they had a shock when they had to go to secondary school. They loved learning in their home and going out to France on days out. Their mom didn't have the subject knowledge for secondary age teaching. My disabled son goes to a school that is very popular and has excellent educational standards. I hope my daughter will go there as well. She is due to begin school in September 2013.

I prefer homeschooling my child rather than putting him to a regular school, there are just many benefits. In my opinion, we can save money, bond more with our child, teach him the good habits and attitude, be religious and god-fearing, takes them away from bullies, let them understand everything without pressure, we can study according to his learning pace (fast or slow), we can learn anytime everyday and lastly, there will be no more homeworks, haha. But I also don't intend to homeschool my child the rest of his life. I also plan to send my child to a regular school once he gets high school.

I graduated from a regular school because that is how we normally do it here in our country. Also, I dont think I;d be able to concentrate on my studies if I were at home since I have my brothers playing around and i know i'll get tempted to join the instead of studying. So there.

I think that whichever education system you choose for your children, you need to pay attention! Many teachers do the best they can, but your children need you to advocate for their progress. Make sure that they stay curious and have a positive attitude towards learning. On weekends/breaks from school, encourage them to read and learn how different things work! If you homeschool, try to make sure they have access to exploring different ideas and meeting different people, not just what you know and think is important. There are lots of options available to supplement your child's education. If your children go to public school, pay attention to what they are learning and how they are interacting with teachers and peers. If they are receiving negative messages from peers, don't be afraid to reinforce positive behaviors and ideas. I received a mix of public/private/homeschool, though the majority was public. Because of high amounts of violence and low educational standards, my parents tried some different methods. In the end, I think I came out pretty well rounded and still curious! It doesn't happen with everyone, though.
