In my previous job, I have no work during weekends, Saturday and Sunday, but in my present job, I only have Sunday as my day-off. I just feel like 1 day is not enough to rest. That's why I missed my previous job having 2 rest days. How about you, how many day-offs do you have in your job? Are you contented with it? Kindly share. Happy myLotting!

Hi harold! We have two days off in our work. I think it's enough for me so that I could also spend some time with my family during those days. But since I am in public service, I can be called for work anytime of the day.
Have a nice day!

It could really be quite an adjustment to go from a 5-day work week to a 6-day one, and I it's very normal to miss that extra one day of rest. I myself would prefer working for five days only. Less than five days would be superb :) But I guess in the kind of work you could be a factor also. I mean, if I really love the work I do, I wouldn't mind a 5- or 6-day work schedule. Or if the work I do isn't that strenuous, a one day rest period would suffice.

It is hard when you first start working long hours, but the good thing is that you must be getting more money for it so you should be happy knowing that you have enough money coming in to pay for more things. I don't have any days off at all at the moment because I have chosen to take on more hours so that I will be able to save up for a flat. This is hard work right now, but I know that it is going to be more than worth it in the long term because of the fact that I will be happy when I have managed to purchase my new flat.

I used to work at my brother in law's pharmacy that required me to work 7 days in a week. It was something that should not be done but I figured, my in laws might think of me otherwise, and so I have worked that way for 10 years. the only times I didn't go to work was during Christmas Day, New Year's Day and Good Friday. Well, at first it was really tiring but got used to it after a while.

Well we don't have work during weekend so we really enough days to rest from stressful work. But there are times that I have to do overtime during Saturdays to do pending works that are needed by next week especially monthly reports.
