This October 21, the season 2 of Protégé's Final Results Night was held giving the title Protégé Battle Champ to Jeric Gonzales and Thea Tolentino. They both win a total grand prize worth 12 Million pesos of cash and prizes including a 5-year contract to GMA Artists Center. Personally, I was disappointed to the results of the show. We can all say that all of six grand finalists deserves to be on that night however, I might say that Mikoy Morales and Elle Ramirez were the most deserving of the six. In addition, Ruru Madrid has also a big potential to win the show. However, I do not know what happened to the results. Is it because of that irritating percentage of text votes? ? ? Sorry to say, the winners are not that deserving unlike the rest of the finalists. As I see Jeric and Thea, it seems that I am watching a Kenkoy male artist, and an emotionless doll acting and crying respectively. I think you know what I mean, if you are watching the show. For the word Kenkoy, it was tattooed on my mind when Jeric Gonzales was described as a Kenkoy by his mentor. At this point, a new season of Protégé is a big no for me unless the network will give a true big break for the winners; most especially a lead role for both winners. Well, at start, I am not really excited for the show to start, and again, I am not also excited for the finale of the show. If I was excited for Protégé, totally I will be a disappointment. I really don't like how they handle the show. It seems like, I am watching Party Pilipinas which turns boring as time passes. I just don't know if what they are thinking. Are they making new artist to put and be as a mainstay in Party Pilipinas? ? ? Party Pilipinas is very overcrowded now with aspiring performing artists. For me, singers and dancers must the only mainstay of Party P, with the hosts. Not those new stars of GMA which are only actors and actresses. If they planned to put the Protégés to Party P, they must let this show a segment of PP, not separate show. I am hoping that the grand finalists, most especially to the winners of Protégé will be given the big break soon, as the show told them. Well, it's a big booo if they will be again dump to Party Pilipinas. A separate show will be a lot better, not as extra or supporting casts, but as a leading casts.

It still boils down to which candidate is the crowd favorite. Even though a contestant is clearly the winner, the majority who think otherwise still has the final say. Take for example Jessica Sanchez vs Philip Philips. A lot of people outside of America believes Jessica is the winner, but majority of the voters who made Philip won thought otherwise.
