How to start again after getting discharged from the hospital?

I have just been discharged from the hospital. I was under observation for 2 days because of a virus in my blood. Now it seems like my platelet count is back to normal. I have always been keen in drinking supplements and vitamins and yet my health suffered. I'm planning to do abdomen exercise after this and maybe increase intake of detoxifying drinks and supplements. Any more suggestions fellow myLotters? Good Health is priceless.

Increase the natural anti-viral foods such as garlic in your diet. Get a reasonable amount of exercise; don't overdo it, though. A healthy diet is better than vitamin pills or supplement drinks. Increase your intake of fresh fruits, vegetables and whole grains. Two days is a fairly short stay. However, I can definitely understand it spooking you and making you want to take even better care of your health so as to avoid another such "vacation."

Thanks for the response. Your suggestions are very helpful. The hospitalization is a wake up call for me. Especially as to the intake of natural fibers, rather than supplements.

There are two ways to eliminate toxic in our body, perspire and urination Therefore, drinking juices and water is good enough to release body toxins by urinating. Daily exercise that makes you perspire a lot is also good to get rid of more toxins. So, I suggest that you do these two ways to release not only body toxic due to unhealthy diet but also to flush out the harmful effect of medicine (after taking meds) from your system. Raw vegetables and fresh fruits diet is also best to maintain a good health. Remember that when God created the first human, they only live to eat fruits and raw vegetables for many years and they live even longer.

Thank you very much for your response. :) Your suggestions are very helpful. Yes, I am taking lots of fluids. I am also thinking of exercise, I do not have much of exercise lately because of my hectic schedule. :( And I rarely perspire because I am locked up in the office most of the day.

Yes, I was under observation for dengue. Good thing my white blood cell count increased somehow. There will be another blood test in two days time. the doctors wanted to be sure. Thanks for the response.

That is very similar to what happened to me. I was also been confined more than a week ago also because my platelet count got too low. I also spent 2 days at the hospital. It was actually my first time. I am happy that it only took 2 days. Now I'm back to normal and will be much careful with my health. Good day!

Nice to know that you're ok now. It is very stressing to be hospitalized. Yes, we should be careful with our health. Thanks for the response. :)

You were only in hospital for 2 days, not 2 months or 2 years. Aren't you overdoing it? Just take some relaxing time. Even without the detoxing supplements etc you will be fine if you give it time.

Thanks for the response. I am taking anti-oxidants because I'm not like this before. I feel that my immune system is not how it used to be. I have been busy with work and stressed out. I have relaxed over the weekend until Monday. I agree with you, relaxing time will really make a difference. Have a nice day!

You should relax first and observe your health condition. Better to do walking for a while to let your body to adjust than do abdomen exercise because you might stress your body too much. Drinking lots of water and taking fruits with vitamin C will help you to flush the virus in your blood. And i agree that good health is priceless. Good luck

Well, a lot of times it seems there are so many things out there, even sometimes in eating Fresh fruits and vegetables that can get in our system and make us sick. Sometimes it could even be in the water, and even the most cautious people cannot always prevent it. I know with myself being Diabetic I have to watch everything it seems but do the Best I can when I can.

Sometimes I think I need to get hospitalized so that I could start seriously thinking about my health. I think I just take it for granted. I know it's a bit morbid, but I need a good shake to really start caring. I hope you're feeling a little better now.
