Question on myLot functions and features

Hey guys, I am a newbie and don't have friends on this to guide me for using myLot so I need help from seniors to help us newbie to get to know more about myLot. For interest is it necessary to add it first before I can start a discussion? Normally how long it take to complete the task if I had choose one? I need to look for time to start a task so I wish info from you guys. Well I never use blog before is it like writing own interest diary online to share with people? Message I think I got it because normally it is same to email. I just learn today on adding friends but it just go in someone's then add as friend. If there are any other ways please tell me too. Photos I thought it will be easy but I try to add a picture to become profile picture, It just added but not as profile picture and I don't know why the picture just put there! And last question, about the games, I play once but later on I saw there is one something like join contest or what to play. Is it necessary to join and pay to play the games? All these are the question I can think of now and I hope my senior can help me and easier my exploration on myLot.

You went through the tabs one by one and came up with all those questions, didn't you? Well, the only one I use mostly here is the 'discussions' tab. But I think the most important one is the 'myLot' tab where you could probably find most of the answers to your questions.
Adding friends can be done through any user's profile page or go to the 'create new friend request' from the 'friends' tab.
To add a profile picture or avatar, go to 'preferences' on the top of myLot page, then go to 'customize your profile' tab. @xiejiaotu (217)

Yes, I did really go one tab by tab to check because i am not familiar with then later come out all these question. You really help me, at last i know how to change avatar picture. I don't like just to appear green for avatar.

Hahahahaha, I had change my avatar picture~~~ so happy. I put this avatar on really entertain myself. This is a picture of poor, hehehehe so funny!

Yes it is necessary to add interest before you start a new discussion.And different tasks take different time but most of the tasks does't take more than 10 minutes...

I do add interest to start a new discussion. In the general area did you mean the discussion people start with then join the discussion?
