They only have them available in two areas in the USA. Now they have the cards right at the pump basically with a lil brochure. To me you'd use the card right away. Well no dice apparently I've been using the card and wondering where's my discount????? I think I missed that lil fact I needed to register the rewards card online. Soooo... now perhaps I'll start saving some cents per gallon! So that's my duh moment of the day.

I save some cents on gas through my supermarket reward cards. Each time I buy my groceries over a certain amount, I'd automatically get a coupon I can use to save at local gas stations. Sometimes they have special offers where I can save bigger amount in gas if I purchase certain items in the store. With those special offers I do need to register my participation on the special offer online. Those are usually the ones I miss out as I often overlook the requirement to get the savings.

BP is one of the highest priced stations here so I don't go there. Even if they had gas at $1 a gallon I would not go there because of what they did down in the Gulf. I use my Kroger reward card to get 10¢ a gallon off and sometimes I get 20¢ off.
I get so tired of all these cards and gimmicks. I wish they'd just lower the prices and stop all the crap.

I had a moment like that with a card that I got at a gourmet chocolate store in the mall here in guelph. Wish I'd known, before I spent about $150 on the damned card. LOL I think these things ought to be registered in store when you get the card. Have them take down your name, and whatever info they need, and you should be good to go.

We have a sheetz down here and it's the same. I think you can use it unregistered for food purchases, but for gas you have to register it online first. Atleast now you know, though you think they'd have made it more clear in the brochure.
