The new mini ipad is on the way. After excellent success with Ipad, Apple makes a mini version of Ipad which will be launched October 26. Apple compare Ipad with Google Nexus and claim that it has more viewable area. It has a 10-hours life battery, front and back camera, and an A-5 dual core processor. This is going to be direct competition with Kindle Fire and Google Nexus. Price starts at $329. In order to compete, Google reduces the price of Nexus to only $199. Kindle Fire HD is $299, regular Kindle Fire is only $199. The timing of this launch is perfect for Christmas gift. What do you think about this mini ipad? Are they worth the price, compare to the reduce price of Google Nexus and Kindle Fire? The mini Ipad is using the same platform as Ipad, so Apple can spread out the cost of manufacturing. However, they still sell it at a higher price. I guess Apple try to keep up the brand, so they can keep a big profit margin. What do you think?

I just found out about the ipad mini today because my cousin told me. Well, upon reading articles from various sites, many are disappointed because of the price. The kindle fire hd and nexus 7 are better in some aspects. Also, the ipad mini is just like an ipad 2 but smaller. However, what really suprised me today, is that Apple just announced the 4th generation ipad. It's basically an ipad with retina display, thanks to its A6X processor and graphics chip combo. Anyway, we can't blame Apple for entering the 7-inch market since it's a huge market as well where in mostly android devices are the ones ruling. By the way, the new samsung chromebook for 249 usd seems to be a better buy as well because it's the first device that carries an ARM15 cpu, the exynos cpu made by samsung.

I like the look of the iPad Mini and its not expensive but I won't be buying I, I find it a bit too small and I already have an iPhone and an iPad.
