The best longterm yet reversible method I have used is an IUD. Besides that, I would say depo, which is an injection you get every 3 months, is also a good option, after that, pills. People have many opinions about what they like and don't like, and many people complain of weight gain and insomnia or fatigue from hormonal forms of birth control. This doesn't happen to everybody, what is key here is using your own experiences to judge, not those of other people, and to maybe be willing to try more than one type to see what may be best for you. I am surprised that the pill gave you acne, in most cases, acne and other skin problems clear up with use of the pill.

The term contraception failure exists for a reason and plenty of women have gotten pregnant while using an IUD.

Different kinds are suitable for different people. I have been on about 28 different ones, and they work for a time being, then stop. I had some bad side effects to many, and changed the kind I was on. I would go back to the doctors and explain the issue.

According to me intra uterine devices and physiological barriers are best for family planning.I will not suggest any body oral contraceptive pill as long term use of these may cause brest cancer and uterine fibrosis because the basic mechanism of these are to alter the hormonal balance in body.IUD are reversible contraception method so whenever you need a baby you can simply remove them.Physiological barriers like candoms are best but some couple are not comfortable with it.
