Money isn`t guarantee... And once again Manchester city proved it.. they are defeated from Ajax Amsterdam in weeks 3 of Champions league.. with the result, Manchester city now sit in the bottom with only 1 point..Ajax rise to 3rd with 3 points.. It`s scary when EPL winner sit in 4th from the group. What`s wrong for tactics of Manchester city? or they still need another player for strengthen their squad.. Look at the starting line up Ajax Amsterdam: Vermeer, Blind, Moisander, Alderweireld, van Rhijn, Poulsen, Babel, Eriksen, Schoene (Boerrigter 88), Sana (Enoh 75), De Jong. Man City: Hart, Richards, Kompany, Lescott (Kolarov 63), Clichy, Toure, Barry (Tevez 72), Milner (Balotelli 78), Nasri, Aguero, Dzeko. There`s nothing wrong in Manchester city squad..this is the best squad from Mancini tactics.. he even have 4 forward since minute 78 when he replace Barry with Tevez, and Milner with Balotelli.. but it`s not enough... Ajax had strengthen their defender.. It`s good for morale of Frank de Boer squad..It show that they still fight for one place..no more favourite because Madrid lost too in Dortmund home...It`s death groups..but it remind us that maybe (once again) Manchester city isn`t qualifying from the group stage like last season..the chance is opened with the poor starting of manchester city.. share your opinion my friend..

City has a very weak coach in the person of Mancini. He has no clue how to handle star players and the results are shown in the European competitions. They have won the title in England thanks to the goodwill of the QPR sheik, because the way Mancini is leading this team is disastrous.

Mancini was never a great coach, for me is very hard to understand how a team with so many great players fail to do decent job in the European stage. I think the fact that they are an artificial team has something to do with them, they have no spirit and no glorious past.

Citizens would be gutted after yesterday's results. I think most probably yesterday's result means that they will no longer be able to qualify for the knockouts. I think they were in the match for the first 60 minutes at 1 all. But then they changed the formation and went to a back three and that against Ajax was a strategic mistake that cost Mancini heavily. After Ajax score the second goal, Man City completely crumbled. Also looking at the other result in the group where Dortmund beat Real Madrid, I think it is going to be these two sides who will qualify from this group. Cheers! Ram

More importantly it was a goal from an ex- Man City player. So it would have really hurt Mancini that much more. De Jong was shunted out of Man City last season by Mancini. Cheers! Ram

Well done Ajax. The result sure pleases me and if Man City falls at the first hurdle, it will be party time. Champions League had shown that unlike Premier League, throwing tons of money would not guarantee success.

This season I have been watching the premership and I agree that man city haven't impressed me much they seem to have lost there winning mentality , maybe Mancini should have brought in more players this current crop of players looks disinterested. I don't think man city will win the league this season I think chelsea will , why? Because they look hungry and that they want to win it man city don't this isn't good.

They need to do something because they have definatly lost there edge and every week there not winning there losing ground on the premiership leaders if they leave it to late , it may be to late ..
