Where Would You Go and Why?

If money were no object and you got the opportunity to travel anywhere in the world, where would you choose to go and why? I would choose two places, Ireland and Germany. The reasons are because most of my ancestors came from those two countries and I love genealogy. I would love to go back to the places of my roots and see if I could walk in the same places they walked, and maybe meet some distant relatives from those countries. Now it's your turn...

Hello capirani ^^ Please don’t laugh at my answer, promise? I have some wishlist in my pray that someday I can go to these 2 places that I really want to go.. First, I want to go to Antartica to see real penguins in their habitats.. I wanna touch them and shake their hands and maybe hug them.. Haha I know that’s a silly answer but I dream about that since I was a little ;p Second, I want to go to Egypt to see the pyramids, sphinx, and everything about their culture.. But I don’t think that I can stand with the heat .

No, no reason there for me to laugh at your answer. If I could tolerate cold better I would also like to go to Antarctica. After watching the sea life that is there on television, I would like to see it close up myself. And penguins are so cute. I've watched a lot of videos on Netflix about Egypt but I am not sure I would ever want to go there. And yes, probably it would be way too hot for me. Although as a young person still in school I had times when I wanted to be an archaeologist.

No doubt, I'll choose France. Actually I'm longing to go there all the time. I'll visit its countryside first. The moutains, the endless vineyard, everything attract me so much. I know I'll go there, one day.

If I won lots of money I would book round the world ticket with load of stop overs. My route would include Madagascar and Mauritius, Dubai, Delhi, Bangkok and Cebu in the Philippines, an open jaw ticket from Nicaragua to Panama, some Caribbean Islands and Peru in South America. I hope I would go to the next door country to Peru, Ecuador to go sailing around the Galapagos Islands.

If I could go anywhere, then there is no doubt in my mind where I would go. I think that I would go to New York. This is a place that I went to when I was a little bit younger and I loved it. I only went there for five days and I just knew that this wasn't enough time, and this is something that I am thinking about now. I have almost got enough money to be able to go back there, and I am hoping that I will find somebody who I would be able to go with and then I will book the trip that I have been waiting to go on for so long.

I was in New York once but only for overnight for a quick visit with a good friend. It wasn't far long enough to do anything or see any sights. I hope you get to make your trip soon.

Funny I just posted a post on my blog about the same subject. I choose Japan, Japanese people are just so friendly even in bad situations. Plus they are so advanced in technology. www.zombietraveler.com

I also would choose a couple of places. One would be the UK. I am Scots/Irish with a little English thrown in, so those countries I would love to see. The other is Australia. I have always wanted to go to the "Land Down Under" and see all the kangaroos and wallabies! lol I don't think I would want to run into a crocodile though! Seriously it is a beautiful country and I do have friends there.

I have to say that Australia has not been one of the places I am interested in seeing. I don't really know why. I guess as far as traveling to other countries is concerned, I am not that interested in any of them except for those mentioned earlier to visit to see the places my ancestors were from.
