Halloween isn't as hyped up here in my country as in the west. Usually halloween is just reserved for watching horror shows on tv and visiting our dearly departed in the cemeteries. Halloween parties usually occur just for the higher middle class and up. Malls put up halloween events to capitalize on it. Since here in my country is largely Catholic, if not Christians, Halloween isn't observed since it's a pagan holiday. Cheer up! I bet Thanksgiving and Christmas would be great! Start saving up for them

I have never agreed with Halloween, because a lot of the children around our area just use it as a chance to go around to people's houses and beg sweets from them. I don't have the money to be able to give sweets to children, and it means that I have to risk things happening to my house because of the fact that people can get quite angry about the fact that I don't have anything to give to them. I was never allowed to do trick or treating when I was a child, and I know that my children are not able to do it either.
