China is a developing country, she has a large population, which has a great demand to resources. She carries out athe family plan to control her population. As the standard of living has been increasing in recent years, chinese consumers make up great proportion in commodity, increasing the turnover of many other countries. I believe the positive parts outweigh its negative parts.

many people will agree with you,but government is on the other side,as china is developing steadily...they just think that china is a potential threat to them.

Thanks a ton for sharing this discussion. Well yes u are absolutely right that China is making great progress today and is very much a hot topic in every country. I do not think there is anything bad in China making steady progress today and i think this should be taken as an example by everyone as to how a country is making such progress in spite of the fact that it is the most populous country in the world. What say?

There is nothing wrong for China to have rapid economy development, majority of the fair minded people want to see China develope and becoming more prosperous, so that the Chinese population can enjoy a higher standard of living and get off poverty. Of course some westerners will see China rapid rise to world economy power is a threat to their long held dominated economic position in developing world, they are very unhappy over China recent rise to become the world's biggest exporter and creditor nation. Just don't let them bother you, as long as China becoming stronger economically, there will always some elements inside their government will whine and cry foul due to loss of trade revenue and market share, just let them suck their own fingers and toes, there is nothing to worry about these losers.
