Hi silverfox! Personally, there are really some things that I can't do because of some reasons like time availability. Two years ago, I really wanted to go back to school to take up law but since I have to wait for my training, I cannot decide on this matter. Now that my training was over, I would have to reconsider this things again. I know I have a little knowledge on my job at present and going back to school taking up related course could somehow help me. While it is good to decide that we have to do a particular thing today but because there are several things to consider, we end up not doing what we planned. But anyway as long as we are not wasting our time for some things that will not bring us any benefit, it is quite okay for me. By the way, what is that particular thing that you supposed to do but your were not able to?

I am wit you on that , I take time off school right now to figure out if I should do law are continue in business finance , I also cannot decide and also. That is one of the particular thing , that I put off . Is this training related to you doing law ? are is it just something you started before thinking about taking up law? Well you are taking your time to sort out things and that is important . Well that is true also as long as you are doing something else that you love as well its ok .

I am a commerce graduate. My previous jobs were all related to my course. Since I am looking for some good paying job I tried my luck on this one and I was able to get the job. After sometime that I am with this present job, I realized that my course is very far from it. My present job deals with supervisory function to the local government units and my knowledge on legal matters is very limited. Yes the training is related to my job is one step for promotion and being knowledgeable on legal matters is also needed. I am done with the training, just waiting for the examination date. But honestly, I know I have to study some more. If I would be able to pass the examination, it will be a lucky day! However, even if I will not pass I am already an officer and a permanent employee of the department.

Awkward moment when I dont check my grammar and typo error before submitting my respond . That is tough to finish your commerce degree but also need another degree in law . What kind of law is required ? is it business law? I dont know much about law also I only did a short semester course in business law . Doing law in my country would mean I would end up over seas . I would have to prove to the immigration office that I have enough funds .

There are several things in my life that I've put on hold. One of them is really pursuing a life partner. I'm not 100 percent where I want to be at in life, so I'm working on getting there before really trying to find a potential wife. You are correct though, life is a lot shorter than we think. I was hanging out with one of my friend's, who had a birthday on October 24. I was telling him how it seemed like the first 18 years of our lives went by slow, but after that life just seemed to speed up. We definitely should do all that we can while we're able.

You should try to take those things you put on hold down , one by one . I feel the same when I was in prep and high school life seems to be running so slow and I didnt have much to think about and after that is seems I have so much decision to make all at once , I hardly get a breather . I am having fun now but I know I have unfinished business back at school . Yes we should do all we can while it is still possible because we cannot tell what the future brings .

It is a sort of procrastination putting things on hold and do it in another time. We should think that there are unexpected time may happen. What if you put onhold a certain things and you will die, it means all of that works will be pending because you didn't do that while you are still alive

Thats is my point , I know I am a person that is guilty of putting things on hold but I dont want to do that anymore . I have make up my mind about what I want to do now because I cant continue to drag it out . I ma just factoring everything out right now because I am okay with either path I may take . I would not want to die with unfinished business, that would be a regret and no man is promise tomorrow . So what about you , what do you have pending ? are you living life to the fullest in that regard .

Hello Silverfox, I agree that the moment spent can never be relived and therefore, I enjoy everyday to its fullest. There are things that I do not put off for tomorrow like calling someone, creating moments of happiness, enjoying with family and friends. There are things over which I have no control. Whether I like it or not I have to wait for them, for days, for months also for years.

Thank you for your respond , yes we can never relieve a certain date . I enjoy life also but I also put things off sometimes . Well things we have no control of is simple that , we have no choice but to wait. We only can do what we can and nothing more .

Hi Silverfox I admire your enthusiasm. Unfortunately I put a lot of things in my life on hold. I procrastinate a lot yeah. I know I should stop but each time I say I will stop procrastinating I say I will do it next time lol. Your right about taking advantage of the moment because we will never have that moment again the day will not repeat itself. Thanx for this inspirational conversation.

We are planning to have a child this year and if not early next year. That's why I have a hiatus with my career for now. Because we have a very stressful life. Just to focus on on my baby. My husband is working hard and I'm helping through this online things, to augment our earnings one way or the other. I hope my husband could find time to rest for some time. I hope we will be able to achieve our goals for life is indeed short just to be wasted for nothing. Good luck. Thanks.

That is understandable , I hope you have a healthy baby whenever he / she comes . Its not a bad thing planning for your family , you may are may not go back to work after the baby comes but as long as you dont miss it that is ok . It would be ideal if your husband could spend more time with you at home but life is so hard right now that he cant even take a break that sound really stressful. Jobs are so hard to find now especially the good ones.

I am putting some of my life on hold at the moment, because of the fact that I am having to work so hard right now. One of the things that I am trying my hardest to do is to be able to afford a flat, and because of this I am having to work every hour that it is possible to work in order to gather together the money that I need to be able to make the purchase. I know that it is going to be hard, but I think that it is worth just making the effort for a short amount of time to be able to reap the rewards of that hard work in the future.

I think you are working to achieve the flat one day , so I dont think its being place on hold , you are doing what need to be done . Yes it will be hard but you sound determine on you are taking down one thing at a time nothing is wrong with that . All the best in your future purchase .

Hi silverfox Well, I feel there are two approaches on this one. First says/believes - Do everything right this moment as there is never a next. Hmmm... if I try this one, I will be unable to do anything right - because there are so many many things and I am not a normal multi-tasker forget the great one So I will end up with nothing. The other belief - Everything has a moment prescribed for it. So wait until its time comes and it will happen - no matter what you think or no matter how you need or even dont need. - I believe in this theory as at least I can have something done (despite my liking or non liking). Then there is another set of things for me - which didnt happen the way I wanted them to happen. On these, when I was healthy, I would return back to them and re-try to get them done the way I wanted them to be. But today, my limitations dont allow me that flexibility

Sorry for my late reply seems I scroll pass your respond Well not everyone can muli-task that is when we have to do what is more important . Make a list and number based on importance and availability . I also believe that everything has its own time and should be dont at that particular time for better result . We also take comfort in thinking that everything happen for a reason , I know I do . Something are just out of our control .

Well, in your discussion, you have expressed a concept entirely clear. In fact, the time we have already spent, will never come back again! We will have much to think about this. Let's be clear, the decisions should never be taken as risky, so we run the risk of making mistakes. However, we must still try to realize the things in our lives when it's time, expect too much sometimes could be counterproductive. Obviously, every decision must always be taken with full knowledge of the facts.

Yes its good if we can plan our strategy for the end result but life is sometimes so unpredictable , but at the end of the day if we do what we want and can say we do all we could do we should feel accomplish regardless . Sometimes when something is important to us we sometime spend forever planning and not seeing that the perfect time may be now are we simple put it on the back burner .
