...And you spent the whole Friday relaxing, dining out, meeting up with a family member? Priceless. I could get used to "Friday holidays". :) I am thankful for this holiday because it gave me a chance to relax my mind, to recharge, to have fun, try a new coffee shop, dine out with my husband and brother. And tomorrow's just Saturday!! It is blissful to think that Monday will still be two days ahead, even if my Friday feels like a Saturday. :) What is your say on days like this?

I feel exactly the same! I feel like it is Saturday today and it feels so great that it is only Friday. We can still have two more days to spend with our loved ones. We woke up late this morning and prepared spaghetti for my husband. Late afternoon we went to the nearest mall to buy a new keyboard and mouse then we ate dinner. Just got home and this actually the first post am going to reply Have a nice evening!

I am responding to your recent discussion from newest to oldest... I guess this answers my question on what you have been doing these past few months. Congratulations! In my previous job, we used to have every other Friday off. It was so great having 3-day weekends every other week. Not with my current job though.

I would like to have a job like your previous one.. 3-day weekend! :) I've had two long weekends for the past few weeks. It would be hard to adjust to regular weekends again. :s thanks for the response!

a pleasant day arystine, with reference to your post, before, i always feel glad whenever a long weekend is approaching. that i can do a lot of things as compare to the usual two-day weekend. but everything has been changed when i started to handle my own business. since i am just on the starting period, i still need to work hard to accomplish things. aside from that, i need to render a double time to earn more. though i believe that everything will pay off as soon as i have organized everything. its just, i need to face this challenge for a while then will be sitting pretty next year.

Weekends is always that pleasant to me. Because during weekends, I would have time to do something at a slower pace. I do not have to rush my breakfast, my bath just so I can be on time for my classes in the University. It is the time that I can have a good look at what is around me, enjoy every second with peace at mind and perhaps have a good chat with friends and family.

Yes, that's the good thing about it. You can do everything at a much slower pace. No worries about staying up late and having to scramble at the next morning. Thanks for the response. :)

Hello arystine. Friday feels like a Saturday. The main reason for this is because we know that the next day will be Saturday, a relaxing day. I have the same feeling as well. I wish you to enjoy your weekends with your family and friends and whatever you plan to do. Enjoy your weekends, friend.

I love holidays that fall on Fridays (and Mondays as well) It really gives you the chance to unwind, relax. And there's that psychological factor, too. I mean, we could do a lot of things on that day, even till the wee hours of the morning, knowing full well that our weekend is still intact - still two days to do what we usually do on weekends

Ah yes, nothing makes the weekends feel better than to realize that it is longer than usual. There is enough time to do and take care of the usual weekend chores, and engage in some relaxing and enjoyable activities the rest of the days. It is also a good opportunity to catch up some sleep after staying up late working for the rest of the week. I wish for more long weekends like this.
