I read Memoirs of Geisha. It was a thought-provoking novel because the author said initially in the novel that he published it when all the characters involved were already dead. However, in his interview, which I saw in the You Tube, he said that everything was a product of his imagination. Amazing!Nonetheless the book transported me to the world not familiar and it introduced me to a culture esoteric like Cleopatra. It was an enjoyable reading material and so, I watched the movie on You Tube and the making of it. I love the characters!Hope to see a geisha someday and hopefully, I get myself into Japan

Thanks a ton for sharing this discussion. Well glad to know that u were moved by the movie that u wanted to see it all again. To be very honest, i have only heard about this movie but never got an opportunity to watch it. The imagination of the author as well of the director is credible enough to applaud their efforts for being so much creative and giving us a beautiful story altogether.
