Is shareapic a fun way to collect pictures while getting paid at the same time?

I joined shareapic a long time ago, uploaded a few pictures but after that didn't bother to check on the site again. Anyway, I wasn't so impressed by the site at first so that might be the reason why I didn't log in again after several years. Is it because I didn't check on the site much so I was not able to appreciate the site? Did anyone here have any nice experience which makes you want to post more and more pictures in shareapic? How about the earnings, did it give you some good extra income in the process? After this, it's possible I might find myself going back to the site again if somebody convinced me to try it out once more :)
