who is the best spinner?

i think its kumble is best spinner of world. as he bowled for team when he is not well and he bowled when he is with bandaid on heads and helped the team to gain victory. whenever he came back he is superb.

Well in the early days of spinnng cricket, India had most effective and best spinners out of which chandrasekhar(leg-spin) and prasanna(off-spin) were the best. But a bowler greatness should not be considered only by wickets taken. Currently we have 2 great spinners Shane Warne(leg-spin) and Muralidharan(off-spin). comparing there stats one its hard to draw a line between them. Some stats In a test match Murali gives 2.39 runs per over and takes a wicket every 55.37 balls giving 22.10 runs Warne concedes 2.64 runs per over and strikes every 57.30 balls giving 25.25 runs So maybe MURALIDARAN has a edge over being the best spinner in the world so far.

I think all the three spinners Kumble, shane warne and Murlidhran are the best. But if I have to choose only one I will go with Murlidhran.

Both bowlers are best.Eventhough Muralidharan is best comapre the spin bowlers.

we cant pick one from they r the best they r the legends picking one may be insulting the other so one thing is common between them is that they r all match winners for their counrty

For me its shane Warne!! He has performed so well all round the globe(except for India)!! No one is as great as him!!

WELL I THINK THAT DANISH KANERIA SPIN WELL.HE HAS GOOD ABILITY TO SPIN.AND HE IS ALL TIME HITS

i think anil kumble is a versatile bowler who can bowl any given conditions... but he is not effective as shane warne.... so i think shane warne is the best spinner....comparing him with murlitharan would be harsh..both have got similar number of wickets... but he is off spinner in asian subcontinent so he gets help from spinning tracks in asia as off shane warne does not get that response in australian fast pitches

murali is the best spinner but warne is the best bow,er in spinners

Muarlitharan is best spinner, his wicket taking ratio is better than shane and anil, even his carrier had enough ups and downs for a bowler to be put down, but he always attacked up front
