It's getting colder everyday. Time to protect our skin from drying. All year round I only use carmex and EOS lip balm alternately. On my shower before bedtime I scrub my lips with honey and sugar mixture. Right from my kitchen I just mix honey and sugar add some drops of olive oil and there you go. Cheap and sure it's natural. You can use this at least once a day. According to an article I've read this mixture will seal your lips and protect from drying and chapping. And it will give you a pinkish kissable lips. So far I maintain my not so pink but not so pale lips. Just sharing my secret. I hope my co-mylotters will share your beauty secrets too.

It sounds nice. I have to find something to replace honey, though, because I'm allergic to it. I swear on using cold water or cold cucumbers or ice on my face in the mornings... it's going to speed up the blood flowing in my skin, and I'm going to feel so more refreshed, and my skintone would look more alive and glowy, too.

Hello friend...thanks Maybe you can skip honey if you're allergic to it. Instead just use olive oil and sugar, why not give it a try. I also love splashing cold water or rub an ice cubes after washing my face with warm water. It also helps tighten the pores and lessen the chances of having break outs. I agree it helps our skin look more alive. I haven't tried cucumbers we always run out of it. My husband and kids loves eating cucumber dipping it into a miso paste.

Well, even though I am a man (maybe your question was mostly directed at women), I must admit that I have not at all a good skin. I suffer from a skin irritation that redden in the face. This happens to me also at a specific point of the chest. About two years ago, I went to see a doctor dermatologist. He prescribed me a cortisone cream to use (I can not, however, apply more than 3 days in a row!). Not to mention the hair, I have a ton of dandruff, this regardless of the number of washes and the type of schampoo used by me. Better that I do not make a problem!
