The Book of Ecclesiastes was written by King Solomon, the wisest man in earth. I would like to share one of my favorite passages, Chapter 3: 1-9.
" To everything there is a season,
A time for every purpose in heaven:
A time to be born, and a time to die;
A time to plant, and a time to pluck what is planted;
A time to kill, and a time to heal;
A time to break down, and a time to build up;
A time to weep, and a time to laugh;
A time to mourn, and a time to dance;
A time to cast away stones;and a time to gather stones;
A time to embrace; and a time to refrain from embracing;
A time to gain, and a time to lose;
A time to keep; and a time to throw away;
A time to tear; and a time to sew;
A time to keep silene, and a time to speak;
A time to love, and a time to hate;
A time for war, and a time for peace."
This reminds me that everything has its time and everything is under control so I take time and not be in a hurry. Do you have any favorite passages in the Bible?

I have lots of favorite, but one of the outstanding verse for me is the Col. 3:2, Set your mind on things above, not on earthly things..
:) Especially nowadays, the earth is filled with so much things that keeps us interested. We may not notice that at times we neglect our very purpose why we exist on earth.
Some rich people are afraid to die-afraid to leave all their riches and property, or afraid to leave all the things behind which they have strive so hard to own.
But for people who believe God, they know that everything is temporary. So as much as we can, let's work out for our home in Heaven by doing good here. Better to invest for our Heavenly home than on earthly home =)
Cheers and Godbless!

I find that passage quite reassuring as it's evidence of god having a plan for us and when bad things are happening to us we can be confident that it isn't going to last forever.Also the idea that there is a time for everything gives us confidence that there will be a time when all the things god has promised to us will come to pass.Personally my favourite Bible passage is Matthew 12:7 Do unto others as you would have others do unto you.As if everyone lived according to that passage the world would be a much better place,and its simple enough for anyone to understand but that just increases the power of the words.
