Friend who cares

My husband fought with me for a silly thing.I was hurt and feeling depressed because of his rude behaviour.My friend telephoned me in the afternoon,and sensing something amiss,came to my house and took my family for an outing and dinner.We had a nice time and my mood improved and peace returned in my family.My friend never asked any question,or gave any advise,she just made us feel relaxed and brought back happiness in my relationship.She never took side or made any comment,she just did something that could bring our tension down.Thank you friend for your help.

rubyroy You are lucky to have such a friend and this is a great reminder to all of us. Sometimes people just need company and support without being questioned and when and if they want to talk, they will. God Bless your friend..and you

Yes with the grace of my God,I could really patch up with my husband,but I thank my god for providing me with an understanding friend.

I went through a bit of a hard time with my partner a couple of weeks back, and one of the things that made me feel a lot better about things was going out with my sister in law and having a really good girly afternoon. It was good fun because this is something that I don't get the chance to do a lot of the time and I wish that I could do it more often. I know that I am very lucky to have a friend who I am able to talk to, as I am well aware that not everybody is lucky enough to have somebody like this in their life.

You got a wonderful friend. Having one such good friend is really a joy. I have few good friends but sadly we are far away from each other. Though distance will never be a hinder. Listening to my problems will just enough for me.

You're very lucky to have a friend like her. And she's also lucky to have you because you obviously appreciate her and her efforts and I'm sure that you would have done the same thing for her. True friends are like that. Sometimes you don't have to say a thing for them to pick out your emotions and dilemma. They will also not force you to say something if you're not yet ready. But they will make sure that you know they are just there for you whenever you need them.
