when cellphone became a trend, it was so very expensive and not all of the people can afford it. only those who have a good job and income well. and those persons who are dependent with their parents were so blessedly happy as their parents can afford to buy and to give it to them. well, what i felt when had a cellphone was that so happy and excited. i had it because my brother used to left it at home when one time he visited us for he worked in a far place in the country away from us, even until now. he cannot return to the house to get it because he will be left with his flight. so happy that he did left it. what i did is that i rang the ringtone to the highest speaker. i am so proud that i had that cellphone and the unit of it is Nokia 3310. the price of it at first is around 13,000 pesos and when converted to dollar it is nearly 300usd. when changed a unit because as time goes by, it became a very important medium to everybody for communication and that cellphone became less expensive, so i can afford that time to buy one. then i gave thus unit to my special friend with a hope that she will keep it goodly for that thing is very important to me and that it has a sentimental value. now, there are cellphones that are so cheap and the features of it can be compared to expensive one even not to compete as the best from all. so what about you, what you felt when you first have a cellphone in your own so to called yours. well, everybody has a first time always. thanks :)

I had my father's old phone, a Nokia 5110. It was bulky and had an antenna but I couldn't complain because cellphones were just starting to become common goods. A 3310 was still considered a luxury. I was given a phone to be able to keep in touch with my parents while I stayed in a dorm during high school. I can actually live without a phone so I wasn't that too excited. Even now, with all those smart phones with touch screens and internet, my phone is still an old non-colored Nokia model and as long as I have enough load, I'm not complaining :D

I had my first cellular phone when i was in my third grade, it was a happy time having my first ever cellular phones since during that time. When you own a phone it was a social status back in the days. It was nice having my first phone and having my first text and call to it.

Well, in Italy, the boom of mobile phones has exploded towards the end of the years 90's. In fact, I bought my first cell phone in 1999, was a Panasonic, only two functions,  make calls and send text messages. Even at that time I was excited because after all the other people who have gone before me, finally came my turn to possess the object. Today, after 13 years have passed (and there are many!), I have a Samsung GT-15500, bought about a year ago, even for me this was the first full touch-screen smartfone. However, limited functionality and small screen, but to me, it's okay for the moment. To conclude your discussion you asked what the cp unit, I believe that you was referring to the CPU unit which would be the main microprocessor of a computer, a mobile phone or any digital apparatus.

Even though a cellphone wasn't so rare and expensive when I got it first, and mine was quite a simple one, I loved it, and I felt so cool and important just to have one. It was insane, an undesrcibable feeling. I could call anyone anytime, play games on cell when I was bored, write SMS... wow :).

Well, when i had cellphone at first time i felt so happy with that untill i couldn't sleep all night coz i want to learn how to use it. When i realized that cellphone had a game, i played it every day until the batery was low. My first cellphone was Nokia 1208 and i bought it with 500.00 rupiahs in 2009. But in 2010, i sold it with 150.000 rupiahs coz that cellphone broke

I had a cell phone before many people. Years ago I used to work at a store that sold them and they companies offered heavily discounted plans in hopes that we'd promote their service. I thought it was pretty cool to have a cell phone when most of my friends didn't. Also working at a store I'd always have the latest and greatest one on the market.

yes, you are right. during the time when cellphone is not owned by everybody, the person who has it was being envied and praised with high regards. so that is why when cellphone became a trend, i so wish to have it one of it. and now as it is like as cheaper compared of its first display, so even the little kids do have it for communication for their parents or whomsoever. so thanks for joining here:)
