How many good friends are worth having in your life

I don't have many, but each one of them is like family to me. There is a girl, i have been friends with her since we were in the middle school, we have been there watching each other get graduated, being in the relationship with someone, get married, have children. Now we don't see each other quite often, but no matter how long we don't talk, or wherever we are at, once we get to chat, we feel there is no gaps between us, time, people, distance... nothing can take us apart.
A friend inneed is a friend indeed. This kind of friend, i don't neek many, for me, 3 or 5 is enough. A good friend is a huge fortune in life that we should appreciate it forever.

For me,I have at least 8 honestly friends,we talk to each other and play with them every chance when we get together .Especially when we are student in the middle school,we do everything together and go to everywhere for funs.Those golden memories still vivid in my mind.After we graduate from the university and join in the work ,we only can get together on the new years.But sometimes we can get together with some of us,We also find the best way and best time we can do something together.Friend is important to me .

I have lots of acquaintances, I know lots of people, I am friends with a few and even fewer friends whom I consider as those really close to me. I only have 2 girl friends whom I like to keep for life and I feel that they feel the same for me. We've been friends way back in review school 8 years ago. And I agree with you that friends like that are conspired as rare fortune.
