have you been driving and found that you mistakenly hit the car in front of you? that must have really been a terrible moment. how did you solve the problem? did it result to a brawl, or was it settled amicably? or did both of you end up at the police station before the issue was resolved? even a little on a car from a driver causes so much fighting on the highways.

I will try to solve the problem by finding some golden mean as far as possible, i.e. to make some compromises from both the sides. Car whether it is small or a big, people are always against the owner.Pedestrian always annoyed with cyclist, cyclist with the biker, biker with the car-truck etc, its a human tendency.
But in my life so far i have not hited anybody either from the front or from the back. Now after 54+ i am feeling it very disturbed and afraid of driving a car. Two wheeler is still very comfortable to me.

you really are funny, roshigo.
where i live, in lagos, bikers have formed the habit of getting annoyed with anybody for any reason. I think because they feel other people are scared and annoyed with them.
thanks anyway. i wish i have a car. can you believe i have never driven in my life? i do envy you drivers.

I am really glad that I have not been in any car accident in my life. Of course there were some times that I cause a dent on my vehicle but there we no issues since what I hit are not vehicles but just my garage. But on a minor or major car accident involving other vehicles, it has never happened and I hope it will never occur. I have also worked as a paramedic and have been driving the ambulance for 7 years, the was never a moment that I have encountered an accident though I have responded to a lot of them....

you must be a really careful driver. 7 years and a clean record? i think your profession demands it. most times, due to road rage, some drivers end up causing trouble for themselves especially when faced with an emergency. if you can keep your cool for 7 years; that is commendable.

Just yesterday when I was riding my electrical bike with my wife sitting behind me on the street, we were waiting for the red light to become green light, when it turned green light, all the cars were starting to move on. The car in front of mine was driving from fast to slow when all of a sudden my e-bike was right behind it. I reacted very fast and stopped my e-bike. I was lucky not to have hit the reel end of the car. Otherwise I would have to pay for the damage to the car. My wife criticized me for that. I will be more careful any time while riding my e-bike. Thanks for the discussion and have a good day.

I try to calm down the driver first and give some money and settle down on the spot or i take his car to mechanic and spend all money for repair.

wonder how much you'd give that would settle the driver if you want to give money? i think the second option, taking the car to the mechanic, if you were guilty, is wiser. most times, even when a driver is guilty, they can start a lengthy argument that only the police can resolve.
