Do You Feel Discourage in Working Online?

Just asking. Honestly speaking, I feel so discourage and I feel that I want to find work outside from home. It seems that salary is much bigger than working online. I don't know, but the only problem is if we're going to find job, it would also be difficult. Mostly companies were looking for applicants that have skills and have bachelor degree. Anyway, I don't know if it is better to work online or get a job in a real world. The only pros that I see in working online is you have no boss, no employer, you set your own time and day, but the only problem with this is you can't pay bills at home. In job outside home is even though less skilled people work at the small company, they still received payment instantly every month though the salary is not that big, they still can pay the bills. What do you think? So how about you?

I prefer to work outside the home. I think it's healthier because I like to see other people and other things, plus when I'm done I can go home instead of feeling like I could be doing more work.

Its fine if we work outside home but my only concern is job outside from home is not for everyone. I tried to apply job outside from home but I always got rejected, wa ha ha  That is time I decide to work online. That is my based on my experience and I thought if I work online, I would be receiving money same as in real online job, but I guess I misinterpret it. Now I realize that working outside home is easy, but I guess, its not for everyone.

Never give up as nothing in life that is worth chasing comes easy that is for sure. The start is always small and slow so when you feeling down perhaps read a book called the snowball about Warren Buffett and how he got started in life and made it big through hard work and well dedication etc.

Warren Buffet is a famous investor, and he worked outside of home for many years to get where he did.

I agree, when you work at home and you work online, you're the boss, you can also set your own time. When you're an employee, you don't have time too go out with your family if it's not weekend, you don't have the right to tell your boss that you have to take a leave when there's no reason at all. If you work at home you can do what ever you want, all you have to do is to work hard at home, do all the things you need to do. Then, you can even learn from posting, from sitting whole day to a great pay check. I earn $1000 a month just by posting and writing online.

Not whole day but 5 hours a day. I stay in front of my computer during my working hours only and after that I can do whatever I want online. You can do this too, I think I'm just lucky to find a company online where I can work and save up.

Wow. $1000 a month? That is a lot of money. You really a hard working girl, he he he How I wish I could earn that kind of money. So it means you stay in front of computer for how many hours just to earn a $1000 dollar a month? That is a lot of money for me.

I think it is just as easy to feel discouraged when working at a job offline. Not every paycheck comes with job satisfaction. Many jobs require a lot from you, but the compensation is lacking. It's a difficult situation, but at least there are options and one can supplement the other.

You are lucky that you have not had to look for work outside of home. That is a luxury that most people do not have, but if you wanted more income offline you could do work for others or sell things without actually having a real job.

Oh yes, well, if the job offline is really not enough, there is work online to earn an extra income. I guess its same in work online and in offline. Its just that I never tried to work outside from home and so, I don't know what it feels to work outside from home. I only see job offline that they easily pay every month with real money unlike in work online, it always pay a cent, but I guess it depends on what site we join.

I have been trying to figure out how to make money from home for the longest. I've don't endless research on affiliate marketing business, but I've been a member of several mlm programs which have made me scared to invest money into "opportunities". I've only gotten partially into the affiliate business and am too nervous about going further. I need to get an outside job just to generate some cash to at least have a financial cushion to fall on while getting vested into the online world. In case it doesn't work out. But it is really hard to find a job outside the home. At this point I don't care what kind of job I get, as long as it pays something. To have a set paycheck every two weeks would be quite a relief.

Oh yes, finding a job is so difficult. At first, before I decide to work online, I first applied in more than one call center. I got rejected and that is the time I decide to work online. I thought working online is so easy. Yes, affiliate marketing is can help us earn a good money. I've read that they earn between $200-$300 dollar a month, but I think it needs investment. I'm not so sure. Even in MLM, it needs investment. MLM is good as long as the company is stable, but the only difficult part is finding people for our downline and I don't have that skill

6 Nov 12
Yeah, me either. I've had a really hard time bringing people into MLM's, sometimes I like the product their selling but they'll have really aggressive selling tactics that I don't care for. I don't mind investment, but I want to make sure I'm not throwing money away. I don't mind the hard work to make it grow, I just don't like "spinning my wheels" and getting no result. I do think I need to "invest" in some kind of training program because I've set a few things up, like blogs etc but frankly I have no idea what to do with them as far as making money with them I'm really fumbling in the dark.

Yes, I think you should find a job outside than working online. Yeah you are right, no boss, your the boss and you have a freedom to do or work whenever you want. But the disadvantages of that is, working online is not enough to support your daily living. You cannot earn that much as you work on a certain company. In addition to that, You will gain circle of friends in the form of your colleagues or office mates if you will work on a company. You can work online too during your rest days.

Another is its also difficult to find job outside from home than work online. All we have to do is to sign up and then, work it in work online, but yes, finding a job outside home is I think better than working online because we can live by doing a real job outside from home.

For myself, I see online job is just my hobby and part time income. All I got every month just enough to pay my utilities. But for living, it's not enough at all. But I believe if I can get more knowledge like webmaster, forex and internet marketing, I can really make good money online and much better than offline. But for now, I will keep on learning on certain knowledge and skills in order to increase my online income. Hope one day, I will not need to go outside my house to get money.

Oh yes. Some article I read that most people who earn a living online have master their skill in webmaster, forex and internet marketing. I am familiar with webmasters and internet marketing but I don't know about forex My only skill that I possess is to write what I know. I mean my own style of writing and even though I know how to write, its just a hobby and I am not that professional.

I only work online to save for my luxury: vacations. I cannot earn online enough to pay my bills or to buy enough food for myself. I`, retired now and I live on a budget with my retirement pension. I own my house so it costs me a little to pay for taxes and the like. I acept that I don`t have enough money to but many clothes, but my friends and family often bring me gifts.

Oh. At least, you live on a budget with your retirement pension. As for me, I work online so that I could earn money for my enrollment fee, but I failed and so, I stop studying. What I did is to work online for extra income and all that I earn is I am going to invest it to make it big.

That is the downside of working online. The salary you get working online is not the same as that if working in an office. But if you are just vigilant enough, I am sure you will be able to get jobs online that require skills which you might possess. I used to have an online job and it gave me a salary almost as if I was working in a regular office. You just need to find the right company to trust.

Well, the hard thing is to make an online job full time. But it is possible. For me, an online job cannot replace an offline job. Online jobs are meant only to be part time. But there are experts that make their online jobs full time in which there are earning a lot. So it's up to the person.

hello jvincent_129, just to add up on here, it is really up to the person. since there are some people who can be consider a big time gurus of the internet. wherein they are really making big money in terms of online jobs. in this instance, perhaps, we should somehow think, if they have that capacity, then, maybe we can also excel in this field. hence, if others can achieved that success, then, we can also achieved it. if others can, then, we can also do it. positive thinking is one of the best ingredients.

@ Airasheila, Wow. I really like what you said here, he he Positive thinking. If they can do it, we can do it too! Oh yes! Let us go for the battle... hiiiyaaah! @ Jvincent_19 Some people make online job as full time. Some of them, but the problem is they would stay how many hours. They stay many hours, but still the money is not enough though there some sites who pay good money even though they stay many hours. I just can't find what it is.

Good for you. I think you have offline work and so, your happy with your salary because your source of income is coming from you offline work. I do not have work outside home and so, I depend on work online because I've heard that there are people who live online by just staying at home. I admire those people too, and I believe that if they can do it, maybe I can do it too.

Hi, I never try only working online, I just think working online is to pass my free time, I think it's difficult to live only through the money we earned online. Maybe you can open an e-shop to sell things online, I know many people do that as a job, but I never try, as I have a full-time job to do. Good luck!

I feel the same way before when i was starting freelancing online. It really does not pay that much. However, you need to find a reputable employer that would pay you well. I had some experiences from the past that i was paid really low and it wasn't even worth the time and effort i had devout from the work. What i did is i quit that online job and look for another online job. Since here in my province, you can't find good opportunity and no one is hiring on the field that i graduated so i settle for my online job. As i was scouting for another online career, i browse on several job postings at odesk and we all know odesk is one of the legit online job portal in cyberspace so, i applied to various projects and employers there and luckily i was hired for some projects. and at the moment i am working freelance for a text QA service which i was hired as Human-Search engine. although the pay is still not much but it is way much reliable compared to my previous employer. On that note, when finding work online, don't go over on googling it and find some sites that are not trustworthy judging from my experience, the best way to get hired and have a good pay, You go over freelancing websites such as odesk. Hope this helps.

Oh. Freelancing sites. I've already a member of Odesk.com, Elance.com and Freelancer.com, but I am not that active on any of that site. It looks very professional to me. I don't have any work experience. I did not finish in college too and so, when it comes to bidding, well, I don't know what to write. I think freelancing sites is not for me. Freelancing sites is those people who are professional and those who have bachelor degree, and for those people who have high skill.
• Philippines
15 Nov 12
Hello, i totally disagree. even an under-college students have success stories at freelancing sites. Yes, mostly they are degree holders who are registered to the site however, there are also some who are hired by employers because they have skills. If you are skill-wised, your account will be noticeable and also, take part in freelancing site's quizzes, so that your profile will be more noticeable. Because some employers refer to your participation and quiz scores in freelancing sites. However, it is still up to you and what really suits your interest. Good luck on your online job hunt!

I absolutely agree. That's why I try to enjoy myself while earning. I play games and earn. You can check my profile if you want to. It has a website. And yeah you can't earn much by playing though.

I have been discouraged a lot of times because of these whole online earnings. i have had my emails bombarded with spam emails because i thought this one site truly offers an opportunity for you to earn decent amount of money online... but really its just a waste of time and space in my email. i haven't really found something as good and as reliable as mylot... so far. i have nothing against others but im happy with mylot now - even if i get a little here, at least i do not have to risk any money and i can be here anytime i want, i just can't make mylot my only source of income. haha ;)

It's not true that people who work outside or offline are assured of a salary. There are cases where people work but because their boss cannot collect payment from their customers, he cannot pay his workers. I think this happens quite often in this uncertain economy. So, doesn't mean you work outside, your salary is guaranteed. The only guarantee is if you work for a big company or for the government. There are both pros and cons to working online but if you focus and you work smart, you can pay your bills with the money you earn online. I suggest you aim for a passive income. This way even if you don't go online, your website or your ecommerce site will still make money for you.
