I have an invention that I would like to protect world wide. Kindly tell me the procedures that I can use in your country. I live in Kenya and I am in the process of registering the same with Kenya Industrial Property Institute. I know if I do not protect my invention in all the counties of the world it will be stolen. Please, some one help me.I do not mind licensing it to various people in different countries. My priority goes to my Mylot colleagues.

Habari, here in UK you would apply for a patent either for UK or world-wide at a patents office. This is quite a complicated procedure and requires a search and it is usual to employ a patents agent. Quite how you go about that depends on exactly what the invention is

I should add that a patent can be strong or weak, what makes a patent strong is hard to define, sometimes it can be better to patent just one part of a design
all the best, urban
