When did you get your first phone?

I was in my 2nd year of high school(about 13 or 14) when I had my first cell phone. If I remember correctly, that phone I had was a 2nd hand Sony Ericsson K700.

I got my first phone for my debut, and that was in 2000. Phones were already rampant in the country. Phones were expensive, then. I got a Nokia3200, i guess that was the model. The one with no antenna, first of its kind.

My first cell phone was bought in the year of 2002 and I still keep it in my drawer. It is a domestic brand. After using it for three years, I got another one, a Nokia one, which lasted for another three years. Now I am using a smart cell phone and it is gorgeous. I love it for its functions. I can almost do many things with my smart phone. Thanks for the discussion.

Hmmm.. well.. I got my first cellphone when I was in college. I was studying in a University back then and I am proud to tell you that I had bought my own cellphone. I got the money from the allowance that I receive every semester. I was a scholar before (I had too) because my none of my parents had work.

I got my first phone at the first year of my university, because that was the first time I left home, studied in a very far city.

I receive my first cellphone when I was on my 2nd year college, that was on my 18th birthday. I think it was the first model of NOKIA that has an antenna in it. and the color was blue ^_^ I was happy at that time because so far I think on our province I was the first teenage who own a phone ^_^

I was 11 years old when I got my first cellphone, I was very happy because in our class, I was the very first one to have a phone. It was a gift from my mom before graduation. It may be bulky, it was nokia 3210, but I like it so much. She gave me a lined phone so that I won't think much about loading my phone since after elementary I would be staying to a dormitory and I'll stay there for four years. They can always visit me if they want to.

Thanks a ton for sharing this discussion. Well glad to hear your story about getting your first cell phone. I remember that i was in my 9th standard when i had my first cell phone. I used to participate in many competitions those days and hence in order to stay in touch with my parents during the course of the competition, they gave me a cell phone even though it was very bulky and unattractive but still it was very special moment for me. What say?

I had my first phone when I was graduating from Grade School and that was 11 years ago :) And like you, i had a phone that has an antenna, I believe it was a Nokia 5110 and it was in red :) I had that phone for almost two years and then I switched to another Nokia phone :) Gee, at that time, phones were still bulky :)
