Tis more blessed to give than to receive.
I heard this from the time that I was a little girl. However when I was younger I never really saw how this could be the case. As I've gotten older, I've come to realize that I am given a much greater gift in giving gifts to people than I am given when I have a gift of my own to open up. The reason that I say this is the case is because of the fact that I love to see the look on a person's face when they open up a gift that is something that they've really wanted.

Hi, thank you for sharing this post. I think giving and getting are both important. That is because we should treat all human well. But remember you are also one of them. In China, people are tought to give without asking payment. I think that is not right. Hi, mylotter, what's your idea. What is the common value in Your country in this aspect?

I'd like to say I agree completely. It is better to give than receive. Actually, the meaning of life is to give than to receive.
