Trying to keep up with myLot and Working

Hello, everyone :) I haven't been here in a while, much less start a new discussion, since I've been busy with work. It seems like the end of the year is when all things related with work comes down on me, and it happens every year! It's an exciting time, for sure, what with the holiday and festival season also approaching, so it's a rush trying to get everything done before I take my much needed vacation beginning of December. It's both exhausting and exhilarating at the same time!
But even so, I remember myLot and friends I've made here, and how much I miss interacting with everyone. I'm trying to spend at least 30 minutes here every day to catch up with everything. I hope everyone's still around and haven't forgotten me, lol!
So anyway, how is the month of November treating everyone? Are you as busy as I am for the same reason - work - or just busy with other things? Do you have to make an considerable effort to come on myLot every day and try to catch up?

I still remember you...
Work for me at this time is about the same load. My current work is not too stressful; I basically can still manage to even do my own things in between work.
Many years ago when I was young and single, I used to manage an engraving gift shop. And this time would be the busiest time of the year all up to new year. @lynnes75 (443)

Oh, hi *waves*!! Glad to see you here too :)
Lol, I've practically been haunting a few gift shops here lately, looking for some gifts for a couple of friends' weddings, and also doing my Christmas gift-shopping early. I always try to do my shopping early to avoid last minute rush and the crowd. It's not too bad right now, but just wait when the school holiday begins for real!

The month of november is treating me great , I can now feel the Christmas breeze and planning my birthday . I work also but its pretty much the same this time of the year and you trying to spend at least 30 minutes here is good . Its not easy working full time and making time to socialize here, I have years of experience going to school full time and still on the net at night time lol .

It's glad to know that you are still trying your best to catch up and visit mylot no matter how busy you are.
It's really nice to see mylotters who never give up this site.
There are times that I also miss mylot due to busy offline work and other important things.
And I know how it feels when we miss something that we use to do, not to mention the friends that we know who are waiting for us.

Yes, exactly, I agree with you. There's so many things to do and too little time to do them all, but we try to keep up with those things which are important to us. I think myLot is worth hanging on to, which is why busy as I am, I still try to come here at least for several minutes.

Hello, Lynnes75! I guess Mylot has never changed since its conception. It has gained a lot of new members, though. So I guess, Mylot would be staying longer as a lot is putting trust on this website.
I have been a memebr for the past 3 years but have only become real active since July of this year. So far, I feel great being at Mylot everyday (and night). I am a stay at home mom so I just practically log in to Kylot whenevr I am done with house chores.
I am looking forward to now more about you and also to your future discussions.

Glad you are back with us here. I also work all day and am at my lot. Good thing for me is I won an internet cafe here in Mexico. So the computer on my desk is on all day here. I also have set my lot as my home page here. have a great week there.
Although I did wonder how a person can win an internet cafe

Where I am it is starting to get colder now. It has been raining a lot too. The Daylight Savings time makes it get darker earlier too. I hope you are able to keep up with Mylot. I know it is tough for me to be on Mylot everyday like some of the other people here. Because I have chores and other work to do in my personal life so I am not always able to be on Mylot all the time. I am now probably on Mylot like 2 or 3 times a week now.

It's the same here, getting colder with the rain more frequently falling. It's 6pm and already dark. Even so, sometimes I wish for snow, just for a day, lol!
I understand you situation. I can't come to myLot everyday now, but when I'm able, I try to spend at least 30 minutes to catch up and respond. Still, it's interesting to see so many new topics up for discussion, as well as new members. Happy myLotting to you too :)

Yes. I want to spend at least 1 hour per day with myLot. It is very enjoyable. I just started mylotting just from 2 days ago.
